Default FCC-filed complaints from the Super Bowl

"Like internet pornography needs the added boost from ABC and the Superbowl to spread its cancer that robs men of their dignity and places women and children in a vunerable and disrespected position."

"I would like to file a complaint on how the Super Bowl's halftime performance and commercials were absolutely mundane and boring. I feel that since the Janet Jackson mishap and the FCC fine, the halftime shows and the commercials during the super bowl have lacked an edge and a true representation of today's times…"

I liked that last year they had about a dozen complaints asking that Joe Buck never be allowed to announce a professional sporting event again.

Thank goodness people complained. The Superbowl runs risks by playing questionable commercials. They should know that people are willing to turn the tube off if they cross a line that they feel is there for their childrens' protection. I know that I wouldnt hesitate.

Dude...just organize a boycott of the company that puts up those ads.

Remember, your their customer. (thats what they hope anyway.)

Sure, I have no problem with staying away from companies that I would rather not support. I have exercized my fair share of consumer discretion in my lifetime.
Complaints are also good because they let the company know that you are interested in their product, but refuse to give them money for said reasons. They are more willing to act if they know you are interested in putting money in their pockets.

It was awful because the rolled stones looked and played like a bunch of meat puppets.

They may be...I turned it off after I realized the production people were screwing with the sound. I can't listen to that type of garbage.

It was awful. Keith Richards was existing on his own island where jumbled notes and random guitar phrasing is considered a skill. And no, this has nothing to do with jazz.

I'm eating here. Please take the nipple off the air and put something decent on like the mass graves of genocide, famine stricken children, sucide bomber aftermath, the plane running into the trade centers thousands of times. Please anything but the beauty of a womans form.

I LOVE the Meat Puppets! You just earned some "cool" from me. I saw them back in '92 in Dallas. Good stuff.

I have a pretty damn good musical ear, the the Stones were awfull. Off tone and flat, and sloppy guitar work. I wouldn't spend 10 bucks yet alone 100 plus other expenses. That's just the price of the ticket.

Heroin must be getting expensive for Kieth...this is just one last money grab. I remember they had the Beach Boys for something recently, they were off key as well, but not quite as bad.

I think it's kinda hard to find something suitable, but I think something mainstream is the right way to go on this event, and I think the whole entertainment halftime stuff is overblown. How do they keep these huge stages from making ruts on the field? It seems like everything is old hat, rap or heavy metal. I'm not Garth Brooks fan at all, but that kinda comes to mind.

I remember a few years ago they blew off so many pyrotechnics that the field was a fog for the first series of the game.

Man...you must love that Gilligan song. Chili's has good food, a nice bar, decent service, a nice atmosphere IMO, and their baby back ribs are great. Sure, it's cookie cutter but the food is good. You know what your going to get.

Considering that the only original Beach Boy in the group now is Mike Love, I wouldn't accept money to see them.

I'm a huge fan of the original band, and all the recordings through Pet Sounds, but Mike Love makes me want to throw up anytime I see him, since I've heard the things that I've heard about him.

You know, I wasn't offended so much by the nipple as the fact that Janet Jackson's breast was so unappealing. It looked like a chocolate pancake.
