Default DeAngelo Williams Highlight Video.

I originally wasn't real sold on this guy, but after watching how fast he hits holes after making one cut he may be the perfect back for our offense. What's everyone else think?

Kind of reminds me of a tailbck from TCU that was drafted a few years back.

It looks to me like he's running on freeways for most of those carries.

(I believe) He will be the NEXT LT2, if he gets to run in our system...

Atleast 5 of those runs were specifically what he will be asked to do in Denver, interior running, Hit the hole hard, make one cut, take the angle, and make a big gain. A couple of those runs he did that to perfection.

Rationalize all you want...

As do most good college backs. I bet you many of Reggie Bush's TD's have holes you could drive a Mack truck through.

The exception to this is Barry Sanders. He never needed a hole, just a sliver of space

Showed excellent patience on multiple runs allowing his blockers to clear the road. Then showed excellent speed on the corners on multiple. And also showed some power running up the middle and breaking would be tacklers.

I'd be glad to have him at #15.

Me neither. And no one I have seen has compared Williams to Sanders except for their height. He looks like a Emmitt/LT type back. Good combo of power/speed/agility

I just don't see it...Emmitt and LT could move a pile, I don't think DW can.

He just seems to have the strong powerful lower half.
i would not be dissapointed if he landed in Denver.

Quentin Qriffin was nowhere near as productive as Williams in college. They are nothing alike.

DW has outstanding vision and takes great angles. He looks made to be a Bronco back.

He ran inside a good bit and had desent success just probably wasnt pretty enough to get on the video. Also the Memphis line isnt full of studs he did have to make alot out of nothing several times.

I can see that some he can bounce off some hits and can wrestle for a few more but in truth he doesnt have as much as Emmit or LT but you have to realize no one has the speed and power (combined) of those 2 men or else they would be mentioned in this topic as well.

Looks like he likes to bounce it out a lot. I wonder if he can run inside the tackles?

The best thing is that it appears he scores a touchdown every time he touches the ball. Notice that most of his scores were from distance, and only a handful from inside the 10.

Looks like he can be a gamebreaker, but is he going to be a good red zone guy? Just asking because I haven't seen much of him.
