Default April Fools

With tomorrow being April fools day, share the best practical joke that you have ever played on someone, or someone played on you!

A friend of mine would go into a fellow co-workers office and hide under their desk. When they would sit down, she would grab their legs... The office usually ended up in hysterics when she was around.

I used to be the HR director at a mill here in town several years back. My good friend, the CFO of the company and the Lead Sales Rep of the company had just started dating pretty seriously (They are married now). They were very careful as they did not want anyone in the company to know they were dating. I used to put together the employee newsletter for the company. So, I decided to create two employee newsletters. One specifically for them, and then a real one! Oh the stories...(I'll have to see if I still have them...) One story was on bedroom golf. The other was on the healthy choices of Safe Sex...but, the reaction was classic. I had to hide in my office to avoid the fists that were coming my way when they thought I REALLY HAD PRINTED IT FOR EVERYONE!!! oh that was just classic!!

not really an April Fools thing but still hilarious/mean as hell!

BIM and I used to own rabbits growing up and we'd have the neighbor kids over and tell them it was licorice, and sure enough, the stupid little bastards would eat it! We were mean ****ers!

My dad woke me up early in the morning about 8-9 years ago...He told me that we're headed to Sacramento...I was like WTF? He told me he had won the lottery and even showed me the ticket and newspaper listing...bottom line...the "winning" ticket was like from a year before or something...I was soo pissed...

another time back in like '98, I was getting ready to go to school, and I left my house and my car wasnt there...I ran back inside my house to let my dad know that the car had been stolen...he was laughing, I was like what are you laughing at...he told me he used the spare key and moved it down on the other side of the street...

he used to be a prankster...kinda calmed down since i've got older but, still...I gotta get him one of these days...

In college, someone on my dorm floor gave his roommate his extra set of car keys, we followed him to the store and "stole" his car. The look on his face when he was walking around the parking lot, is still priceless.

Probably around 15 years ago now, a local radio station got Kenny Stabler to come on the radio and announce he was coming out of retirement to be Elway's backup.

While you are at it, there is probably some old geezer on cancer meds that you could switch out with some altoids. Just good ol' fun, huh?

When I lived in Southern Cali with my dad when I was younger, he and my stepmom woke us kids up and got us allllllllll excited because we were going to Disneyland. Being Disney fanatics (He worked at in the Golden Horshoe Variety show in fronteirland for yearsr), we were going out of our minds with joyful anticipation. Imagine 5 kids, all under the ages of 12 at the time, getting dressed, showered and ready in about 7 minutes flat. We were in the car in record time. 10 minutes later, we were at Von's shopping for groceries. Evil Bastard.

We did go to Disneyland a few days later, but MAN were we pissed

When I 1st started at my current job 8 years ago (I started 2 weeks before the Broncos beat the fudgepackers in SBXXXII!) my boss asked me to get a printer out of her trunk & she gives me her keys. So I go down & get the printer & Put it on her desk, she is talking to another person in IT & tell her I got the printer but I had some bad news. I told her I locked her keys in her trunk when I got the printer out! She looked at the other person, I could tell she was thinking what a DUMBASS! & then said "Oh don't worry I will call my husband & he can come by when he gets off work & get them out". I knew he worked an extra hour more than she did & she was not happy so before I left I made sure to say "April Fools" & pull the keys out of my pocket.

She got me back next year & had another IT Application person tell me they had to do a Service Pack up grade during SB XXXIII. Payback was all hers, I took it hook line & sinker!

When the board and some member names were all converted to cat talk a couple of years ago, I really thought that was funny.

I remember because I had a pic of Forsberg in my sig with the line, "Who needs a spleen, when you've got Hart." He changed it to some ridiculous looking cat and it said "Who needs Hart when you've got kitties!"

Funniest part about it was I think Mock was on 'vacation' or just due to come back from one.
