Default Illegal Aliens Boycotting May 1st

To prove to USA that they are an important faction of the economy, the group that brought the LA protest will be organizing a boycott for all illegals on May 1st. Walkouts of jobs will show how important "we" need them says the organizers. I figure we can come up with some positives also on their boycott. First, this will mean no I.A. driving on our roads with no insurance and no license. If they go anywhere, they must use our taxpayer sidewalk or public transent busses that cost us extremely more than what is collected in revenue. 2nd, no IA gangs can rob, shoot or cause injury/damage to any property or human being. If you are assalted, dont bother calling tax payed police officer. Police officers can work at less capacity since IA cause many crimes in the city. It is believed that 30% of the criminals in the jails in lA county are illegal. Crime should be down by that same amount for the day. 3rd, getting harrassed by the IA standing on the corner? No problem on May 1st. Furthermore, test at schools will have a higher test score since IA children perform below the state average. Kids will have more room to play since there wont be over crowding at thier school. Maybe less teachers will be needed (My wife is a teacher and I get to grade these kids papers. Parents dont care and these kids work suffers badly). Lastly, dry wallers, air conditoning guys and construction workers can finally get work and get paid at a higher wage that should have been theres to start if they employer didnt search for IA work force. Guys making $17 20 years ago will finally get that raise that they have been waiting for over the last 19 years.
See, the boycott might be good for us after all. Western Union and money transfer companies might not like it very much as money that shifts to the Mexican economy makes this type of business the 3rd highest in Mexico! Tourism and Oil are first. Makes you think where all their money goes. VIVA USA!

a few things that I have seen over this bothers the hell out of me .......... For example , those marchers / Protesters , flying Mexico flags .......... Just where does your aliegence fall ? I dont care they flew Mexico flags, but some of them should have had American flags .......... Then come to find out Coperate America/ Republicans wants to outsource more jobs over seas , and bring in almost 400K Mexicans over the border per year ....... Do the math guys , this is a full frontal assualt on Unions and the American middle class , Most here on this bord that bash unions dont have the first clue as to what they are bashing and why , they just hear republican talking points and run with that .......... This country was made great by the woring man and Unions , Unions that brought justice and fairness to the working American .....Then those that say well the unions are forcing comapnies out of business , thats pure bullshít , crappy products and interest rates does more to kill a company then unions ......... Cheap labor = High profits .......... Yes they are attacking you and me , My job will be one of the last outsourced , but the time will come ........

You can't lump all unions into one. Its retarded to say that all are great or all are bad. Some are great (example is the early years of the teamsters) and some are worthless (the NY Teachers Union for example)

Anyway, I think that if they do this, Americans should hold a counter protest where we burn the Mexican flag. And see what would happen.

Yep. The Mexican fans can be pretty hostile to the American fans at those games.

You had me on board until the union part. Unions were great at a time but when they fight items like rubberized roads in Arizona to test a 20 mile stretch because they know it will save money and last longer than pouring asphalt every few years and costing their precious jobs or when paint guns were invented, unions wanted to stay with the paint brush. Too much protection for bad employees. Also, I would rather have a union member have a job than an illegal alien but why would the unions back legislation protecting the illegal alien? Find me an union drywaller in California? Now find me one that is white or black! You cant. Republicans and Democrats have pushed this issue aside for too many years. We tax paying citizens are tking the brount of it now. Alos, here in SoCAL, many emergency rooms are closing, why? Because illegals use it for any ailment like it is a free medical facility and bail out on paying the tab which then gets pushed on to us. Illegals are basically poor people that have nothing and get too many freebies once they arrive. I cant wait for the new flux of illegals coming over in ties with a sport jacket. Yeah, that will never happen!

It is coming this was the first thread to speak on it. Another note i heard. Fruit/vegetable pickers average about $8.33 an hour. The average American spends $370 per year on these goods. Your cost will go up only $9 a year if wages went to $12. How many citizens would be willing to work for $12 if they are making minimum wage or such. Hell, my dad picked apples in washington as a young kid. Doomsday people say we would be paying $20 for lettuce. Complete crap!

This is one of the many excuses used to justify employment of Illegal/ migrant workers. I have said it many times before, I'd rather pay more for the products, and know what I'm paying for, than to pay for services rendered to these workers, and not know how much I'm donating, nor how those funds are being distributed.

Regardless of where anyone stands on any of these issues, it looks like something is going to come out of Congress pretty soon:

Want a real education on illegal immigration? Read this:

http://www.bearstearns.com/bscportal...nderground.pdf

and weep.

Here’s a particularly interesting passage that points out what we can expect from Congress:
“It can be strongly argued that enforcement at the work place is a much more efficient way of controlling illegal flows because the primary incentive for sneaking into the U.S. is money and jobs. A telephone verification system was designed under the auspices of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 for employers to confirm the legal status of potential employees. As of today, this system is still not running.”

Great find! Some are just realizing the overall cost implication of millions of Illegal Immigrants draining our social, medical, insurance and judicial systems without proper contribution to those systems!

The Employers are happy! The get low cost workers and tax cuts!

An employer must have access to a national database to verify identities with SS numbers and Immigration status. If that is not available, how can we ever procecute those who employ Illegals' with forged documents!

Employers that know they're hiring illegals aren't going to check a database.

I sent this little idea to my reps and received no response:

Illegal immigration is easy to stop. Just verify social security numbers (SSNs)! An employer takes the job application of a prospective employee and goes to a website called “U.S. Government SSN Verification.” There, the employer types in the data required on every application. Within seconds, the database verifies that a person with that name, that date of birth and that place of birth has that SSN. Of course, it doesn’t give the employer all that data. It simply says, “Verified SSN.” The employer prints that page and puts it in his file with the application and the W2. If the database discovers that the SSN does not match the data supplied by the prospective employee, it comes back “Not Verified.” If an employer hires an employee with an unverified SSN, or fails to verify the SSNs of his employees, he faces fines, forfeiture, and/or imprisonment that escalate with each infraction. Enforcement is guided by the IRS who already know when SSNs are invalid or duplicated. All this data is already at our fingertips. This database shell and website could be created in one week for less cost than an Air Force toilet seat. All it takes is the political will.

I think the average American could sit at his kitchen table for about a half an hour and come up with a better solution to illegal immigration than a Congressional Committee could come up with if they spent six months haggling over it.

I think the problem with our goverment is that they cannot implement SIMPLE SOLUTIONS to OUT OF CONTROL PROBLEMS!
I've been contacted by the IRS a few times over the last decade informing me of irregularities with employee SSN's. When we notified/ questioned the employees, they just dis-apeared! In subsequent record reviews all of the documents we had on file (copies) appeared legit on the surface. So, until a verification process is implemented, the employer can only check and file documents which appear legit!

How about the time when the US Soccer team was playing in Azteca Stadium, im Mexico City, and during OUR American National Anthem, these Mexicans started chanting, Osama...Osama....Osama...!

And they want to come and live here? They dont want to be Americans. They just want the money, and still be Mexican. I get tired of teachers having to learn Spanish to teach the overwhelming amount of Spanish students in our public schools. If you come here, the Mexican flag stays south, and you learn to speak our National Language, no more Spanish once you are here I say.

I agree to a point except for the part about Unions , I agree both have pushed imagartion to the side , both have benifited , you and me have also , Cheap food ect....... and I agree that ilegal imagration is a huge strain on our economy , and to a point our way of life ............ Lets look at the whole picture here , GM major problem is paying Healthcare for thier employees , Unions dig in hard on this , if we had a universal healthcare system , GM would be off the hook for medical expences specialy retirees , then GM could lower thier price on cars , stop laying people off ......... Workmans comp wouldnt be that big of an issue , and we can afford this ...........
I know it is a radical Idea , and the Drug companies are not thrilled over this idea , but it is one that would work ..........
