Poison Pills getting out of control?

Two years getting this done and it's like itemizing taxation.

After the Horneads threw a poison pill into the Hutchinson deal. Seattle responded with a ludicrous contract of 7 years 49 million for Burly of the HornHeads. Champ's contract looks cheaper all the time! The point is that it was revenge, but stupid revenge. Burly is a very good reciever, not an elite one. Not only does Seattle have to eat that contract, they also have to give a third, which is where Burly was drafted then shipped out of GB for peanuts.

Two years and now it's as screwed up as ever.

Clayton said that Upshaw and Tags were suppose to meet next week about closing up the issue of "poison pills." Clayton said that Tags might have to offer up something like a team can only franchise a player once.

Hawk fans will tell you that the 49 million is only guaranteed if Minny wants to match and something to the fact that it is only a 14 million dollar contract for Seattle.
