Big double by Jason Michaels.

Indians did something they couldnt do last year, which was sac bunt.

Grady Sizemore got the big one that resulted in Casey Blake moving to second.

Then Michaels drove him home.

I hope they can hold this lead and get out of Chitown with winning two out of three.

Big win.

Its only one series but hopefully this is a good steppingstone for the Tribe, who lost too many one run games last year.

White Sox are going to be freaking tough and I hope this AL Central race will be a two team race and not one (the White Sox).

Default Sox Look pretty good

Very early but Beckett looked great last night.,he hit 97 on a couple of his pitches. Foulke didn't even take his coat off in the ninth . Francona went right to Papelbon who was light out. Could be like 04 with two aces again. On to Baltimore.

Mags is on fire to start the year too, I so wanted to draft him but I have quite a few Tigers on my team as it is now.

Chris shelton started playing pretty well last year for Tigers. He now has 4 hrs. Salmon of my beloved angels has hit two HR and might be on his way to comeback player of the year at 37 and not playing since august of 2004. Great guy that deserves everything good.

Dodgers will be the suprise team of the year and lately I've been too excited about their lineup. Losing Gagne hurts though but Baez will get us by until we get the most dominating force (when healthy) back in the lineup

I am happy to hear that. I really wish I would have drafted Chris Shelton instead of Dan Johnson, Prince Fielder or Mike Jacobs as a UTL on one of my teams, though. I thought his home park might hold him back. Not bloody likely!

He was a popular pickup, but I snagged him in a couple leagues. I'll probably keep him on the bench in the coming week, though, he's got Cleveland in his next start.

The minor league numbers are pretty nice. One earned run in seven starts at AA for a microscopic ERA of 0.28. You rarely see ratios like that outside of high school softball.
