Nice. Another save from Kenny Ray. That's two on the week! Meanwhile, Joe Nathan is sitting with zero on the week. So far so good on that front. Now if I can get Teix hitting better than 3 for 21 with only 1 Run and 1 RBI.

Francisco Liriano with another dominant performance today. He's leaving with a 4-0 lead after seven innings of one-hit ball against Baltimore today. If the bullpen hangs on, his record will improve to 5-1, to go along with his tidy 2.10 ERA.

Meanwhile, Twins catcher Joe Mauer started the day batting .388!

Joel Zumaya was clocked at 102 mph in the Tigers game today.

Dude has filthy stuff. He should be the closer soon in my opinion....Todd Jones and his 7+ ERA needs to be replaced in the near future. I prefer to keep Rodney in the setup role.

I think his shoulder tendonitis is really bothering him. He's still striking a lot of guys out...a la 10 in 5 today, but he's also throwing a ton of pitches. 103 in 5 innings. He just doesn't seem right. He's been one of the filthiest pitchers in the game over the past two seasons...this season doesn't reflect that. I hope that he's just having a bad year, and I'm wrong about his shoulder.

Ahhhh...how good it feels to have Liriano AND Felix. CHA CHING!

Felix just went 9 strong. Struck out 9 (I think), no walks, a ridiculous GB/FB ratio (like 2 flyballs)...general ownage.

BTW Taco, have you checked out all the M's blogs out there? A lot of them are quite good, and there's a few ran by former ML'ers. Lookoutlanding.com is the best, and their running-game threads are always fun.

Man, what is up with this crappy A's stadium? Do all stadiums have this much foul territory? I don't remember seeing so many foul balls run down in a game.
