I have been here on a very regular basis for over 4 years. I look forward to checking the mane each day, and do so before I check my mail. I would say the true definition of an O-Mane junkie is one who knows as much or more about their division rivals as most of their own fans. What other message board group could so easily rattle off the Chiefs last playoff win, or their playoff record?

That's never a problem.

If you're not a Chiefs fan you don't even have to take off your shoes to count the few, the proud, the distant memory.

It's sad because so many eye-witnesses to the last Chiefy greatness are dying off every day.

Well, not sad really...it frees up money from the state funds, but you know what I mean.

As you can tell by the sentence structure this is a typical seasoned Orange Mane poster. If you notice the triple reverse slam on Chiefs fans amplied by including politics but never referring directly to the thousand threads that have died brutally in War and politics section.

If you are an Orange Mane regular you know never ever go unescorted into the War and Politics forum. If you decide to enter the War and politics forum you need body armor covered in penicillin. Be sure to be current on all your shots especially tetnus. It's nasty in there.

On each seasoned Orangemane poster post you will notice a type of ribaldry and satire that you will never see in mainstream press unless of course they don't know what they are talking about (DPO) or they are lying. (PFT)

If you are new to the Mane this is Wabbit. Do not mess with the Wabbit. If you ever get Wabbit fired up he can be one scary little woodland creature. This is one of the few rules at the Mane. Do not mess with the Wabbit.

I can't get one my threads past 20 posts much less a sticky.

Do a search of posts by post count. I'm down on page 16 looking at guys with 100 posts and knowing who they are. That's sick! How the heck did I get past 5,600 posts? I remember 1,000 was a thrill.

You are an Orangemane regular when you really don't care about post count.

I have been more Regular on the OM & at home since I started taking Metamucil tablets! Getting Old Sucks!

http://metamucil.com/about_fiber/learn_more.shtml

What Is Dietary Fiber?
Dietary fiber is an important part of our diet. It adds bulk to keep other foods moving through the digestive system, and it holds water, which in turn softens the stool for easy elimination. Dietary fiber describes the part of the plant that can't be digested. It can be divided into two types, which are essential to proper bowel function:

1. Soluble fiber forms a gel-like material in water. It helps restore regularity and lowers cholesterol. Good sources include oats, beans, peas, many types of fruit, and psyllium.

2. Insoluble fiber does not dissolve in water and moves through your digestive system quickly and largely intact. It helps keep you regular by bulking up the stool. Good sources include wheat bran, whole-grain cereals and breads, and many vegetables. The secret to getting enough fiber is to eat a well-balanced diet that includes a variety of high-fiber foods.

Easy Ways to Increase Fiber
Adding fiber to your diet may be easier than you think. Here are some tips that can help you get started:

Substitute high-fiber foods (whole-grain bread, brown rice, fruits, and vegetables) for low-fiber foods (white bread, white rice, candy, and chips).

Try to eat more raw vegetables and fresh fruit, including the skins, when appropriate. Peeling vegetables can reduce their fiber, and skins are a good source of fiber.

Eat high-fiber foods at every meal. Bran cereal for breakfast is a good start, but try to include some fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans in your diet as well.

When food isn't enough, a dietary fiber supplement can be taken.

Be sure to increase your fiber intake gradually to give your body time to adjust, and drink plenty of fluids.

If you change your avatar every so often just because you're sick of looking at it, you might be an OM regular...

You just might be an OM regular if you can correctly name every member of the EGIBGB.... several have been away from the board a long time (and are very much missed. )
