Your right, that would be an outstanding haul after Round 1.

Bunkley and Pope would be an excellent tandem for this team.

Damn good.

However, there is no way the Browns pass on Bunkley at 12.

Never know, they were predicted to take Ernie Sims until Bunkley's big workout, but Sims was super impressive as well. They run a 3-4, unless Crennel thinks Bunkley is the second coming of Richard Seymour he'd probably be better off with a legit OLB.

If the Browns do pass on him there's a good chance he falls to us though, which would be super cool.

This is one of the better mocks I've seen. Bunkley and Pope are legitimate possibilities for us and make the most sense IMO. I'd do backflips.

The mock has the Browns selecting Tamba Hali. I would laugh if they did. I hope Denver doesn't get him. I think he is going to be a bust. I think he is a one demensional pass rusher that will be dominated by a good OT.

I will hate the Pats even more if they swipe Williams before our pick!

Not a bad draft, but tantalisingly close to being my perfect outcome

are they aware the browns play a 3-4? I can't get behind the plausibility of a draft that doesn't appear to even know the base formation of a teams defense.

The Jets swiped Maroney before the Colts pick. They won't find Edge's replacement in the first round.

Alot of experts think Tamba Hali can play outside LB in the a 3-4. In fact I think as a DE he will be horrible but maybe in a 3-4 he is better suited. That being said I wouldn't draft him for any reason.

Bunkley will be gone before 15 you never know he could fall but not likely be a f+ing sick draft for the Broncos if it went that way . mangold @ 22 would be better

Mangold will probably last into the 2nd, and besides we have far more pressing needs.

if those 3 RB's are gone before the Colts if they want a RB they'll probably take Addai

he's big strong, can play RB & FB, fast & can catch out of the backfield

Bunkley/ Lawson would be the way to go. I'm not all that keen on Pope. He's huge, and that's about it. Doesn't have great hands, gets leveraged on blocks, and runs akward routes. I don't see him having much impact for us. Bunkley is my first choice at #15, but Lawson would contribute immediately, and has stud potential.

Hmm - did you see Pope in any games the last couple of years? I saw Georgia three times in person and probably a dozen time on the tube and I don't see things the way you do about Pope.

Leonard Pope has great hands. At 6'-8", 260, he creates a matchup problem for anybody and everybody who covers him. Pope was faster than 5 RBs, 7 WRs, and 3 CBs at the combine. Vernon Davis is the only TE in the class that is faster. The only weakness is his blocking. That will improve.

mock likes it. Two big boys up the middle, hello #1 rushing D. Picture this in your mind...6-8 Pope against 5-8 DW. Try to overthow that guy Jake. Finally a draft that isn't east coast bias that loves to throw us trash.

He would just throw the ball at his ankles.

If it came out this way, I would not do backflips, but I would smile a lot....
