I thought that too right when the trade happened. A lot of Broncos fans will be ticked if he's the pick, but most of us get pissed anyways. Just live with it.

I would be fine if we don't get a WR in the draft or at least hope we don't reach for one. I think a guy like Stovall, the kid from Oregon or Central Florida would be a much wiser choice. I am still holding out that we can somehow land Javon Walker. Chad Jackson and Santonio Holmes do nothing for me.

I read somewhere we are looking at a CB from Minny. Whoever it is, most of us will be pissed, but this year, we get to be doubly pissed. We still have around 9 picks I think. Moving up the board by 14 spots for a 3rd and probably late 4th next is absolute robbery.

The "Plan" has reactivated after a nap.

Big Hair doesn't get serious till the week of the draft. He will throw all kinds of red herrings out just to stir the pot.

I'm almost positive we will try to get an impact TE...Davis, Mercedes,Pope....everyone knows I drool over Davis, but too much ammo would be needed still. And money. 15 and see what falls to us will probably be the plan.

Chad Jackson with the 22nd wouldn't be a bad idea, But with the 15th, i hope we go a different direction.

I don't see us trading up for Vernon Davis though, it could happen, but Pope would be there at #22. He's not that far behind, if at all as a prospect to Vernon Davis. He'd be an absolute terror for us in the red zone, something we really need.

Chad Jackson is gone before #22. Miami loves that kid too, and it just so happens they're picking behind us.

I'm starting to really like Leonard Pope. He's huge, relatively fast, has great hands and instincts, and has upside as a blocker. I would rather see a nice TE to couple with Rod and Ash than another WR. We need someone to work the middle of the field.

Dude, drafts don't go the way everyone thinks they are going to go. Just because they love the kid doesn't mean they will draft him if someone they have rated higher then him falls to them. There are more then 32 players talented eough to go in the first round. People will slip drop and we won't know why. Look at Hawthorne last year. Mel said he was what the best DT or the second best DT in the draft. Some pot and bad interveiws later he is still sitting waiting to hear his name called after the first day passed.

I know that, but I'm pushing all my chips in that Jackson is gone before we pick at #22. That's what I think. You don't have to.

VD is a wet dream, I just don't want to see VD in my hood. We have shot our wad and will stay at 15. If anything, we will trade down from 22 now.

Thats fine its a safer bet but the draft is never cut and dry like that. I just sit here and listen to people claim that such and such will be gone by then and I have to ask them how do they know that? Interviews are such a big part of the draft and we don't get to hear about them. I like to think that some teams still use them to make their picks.

I hope so and hope it is not because we plucked him at #15. He ran a good 40 and had one very good year at Florida. What about his route running, blocking, ability to go over the middle? How do we know he will not turn out to be another Marcus Nash? On the other hand he could be all-pro. Too many unknowns when there will be a lot of more proven talent at 15.

The draft is no exact science, but I think Jackson is #1 on most boards, if not #2 for receivers. I think there are several teams after #15, who could use a wide receiver. Miami, San Diego, Kansas City and even possibly New England after Givens leaving. Now, they do have other needs, but it'll be hard to pass up Jackson. Anyways, I just hope the Broncos make the most of the picks they have. That's all.

I like Jackson. I wouldn't mind drafting him, more so then Holmes. I think Holmes is talented too but he is just shorter then Jackson.

Well, there is always that possibility. I've watched Chad a lot, and he runs very good routes and unlike Lelie, isn't afraid to go over the middle. He did it quite a bit this year, compared to his Sophomore year. Now his blocking, he's willing -- but almost all receivers have to improve or could improve on their blocking coming out of school. People say it's a reach for Jackson at #15, but for arguably the best receiver in the draft, that's good value.

Kiper was talking about how tough Jackson was, getting thrown to underneath and really fighting for the ball. He also said Chad focused on the ball as well as anyone he's seen in a few years. I'd heard here that Jackson is big and fast, but soft. So, which is it? I really haven't seen much of him.

With the Claw resembling a Rock Lobster and a member of the Go Go's, WR is certainly one direction to help out our erratic QB. Dammit, top 100 had VD going at 29, now he's in the top ten.

Thanks for the info. Have read that he has had a tough time getting off the line against tough CBs. That can be coached if a player has the heart and cajones. Hard to measure those things at the combine. Again I will go with whatever the FO comes up with. They have information that no one here and that hair hat does not have either. I am torn between moving up to grab M. Williams or Davis and staying put to get two good players where we are.

We certainly have a lot of possibilites. Mario Williams and Vernon Davis are elite players at their respective positions. However, there is great talent at #15 and #22 on both sides of the ball that could help us out as well.

If you're a firm believer that Denver is one player away from a Super Bowl, I expect you to have the gut instinct to trade up and take a guy like Davis or Williams. In my mind, they're certainly worthy of that selection.

Now, if you believe Denver is a few players away and would be better of taking two players, we can do that too and just stand pat with what we have.

Denver could actually ship their #15 and second rounder to move up to #8/#9 to grab Vernon Davis if he fell and still have their #22.

If they wanted Mario Williams, you have to trade both firsts and more than likely, not get another pick back.

Like I said, a lot of options. But if the draft were to fall well for us, Denver could realistically bounce #15 and #61 to a team for Vernon Davis; and have the luxury of #22 which would be used to get a defensive end, or perhaps another impact player on either side of the ball.

We shall see.
