#22 is BS cause no way Broncos pass on Jackson,Holmes,Lewis & Hali for Watson

Tamba Hali at #23?! He tanked so bad on his Pro Day, Mayock has him slipping into the 2nd round.

Switch the Broncos and the Bucs picks at 22 and 23 and I'm happy as hell with this draft!

No way the Broncos are going to take a DT with the 22nd pick, unless they think this guy is a sure fire Pro Bowler, and the other players at that slot aren't worth taking. Hell, if that's the case, they'll probably trade out of that position.

This guy has the Eagles taking Lendale White. They just gave Westbrook a big time contract before last year. No way they are going to draft a RB, when they need a WR, and O linemen.

Grab him at 29 then. People put way too much stock in these workouts, none of which give any real indicator as to whether or not a guy can play football.

Hali can play. Get he and LenDale in round 1 and I'll do a cartwheel in my living room.

I have to believe if Tamba Hali makes it to 22 the Broncos are going to jump all over that

who the hell is this Joey? I mean so much is crazy on this mock draft. First, LenDale White is not going to Phili. These guys need a new receiver and I believe they gave Westbrook a huge contract not too long ago. Now to the part that really surprises me. At 22 no way are the Broncos taking Gabe Watson and passing on Hali, Lewis, Holmes, and Jackson. Also DeAngelo Williams is not getting picked after Lawerence Maroney. He will b 1 of the first 3 backs taken. I mean this whole mock is crazy.

LenDale White is my first choice for a 1st round RB, but I'm really warming up to the idea of Laurence Maroney. If LenDale isn't there at 22 (or a trade up isn't possible) I'd be pretty happy getting Maroney at 29. He sounds like he's tailor made for our system.

You are entitled to your opinion, yes, but how often does the draft go the way YOU expect it, not very often. The reason I have LenDale going to Philly is because Westbrook is smallish and injury prone and they have needed a big back for years. As for their WR's they just signed Jabar Gaffney and are getting Stinkston back, and they also have solid WR's in Reggie Brown and Greg Lewis.

As for Gabe Watson, Denver has no depth behind warren and myers. Veal is serviceable but nothing special, not to mention myers is almost 32 years old and average at best. Everyone says we need a DE, but I think we are pretty set at DE. With Watson in the middle we would have what the bears had with Keith Traylor and Ted Washington. It wouldn't allow the guards to get to our LB's and it would make them even better.

You guys can slam me all you want, but if you disagree with mine, make your own or don't read mine!

I agree with you here. Kudos for at least putting something out there.

Man, I seem to change my mind on who the Broncos should go after in round 1 every day. I'm really liking the idea of grabbing Leonard Pope at 22 as well. A 6'8 TE who runs a 4.6 forty, is a good leaper, has good hands and averaged 18.1 yards per catch in his college career. You want a big red zone target, this is the guy.

As a general rule, I don't think the first round should be used on defensive tackles, tight ends, guards, most centers, fullbacks, safeties,or Sam linebackers (Obviously not kickers too.) They just aren't the critical elements that the other positions can be. Unless you were %100 sure they were going to be a perenial pro-bowler, it would be a waste in my opinion.

...Though I sure wouldn't mind Vernon Davis.

Don't b**** about people slamming your mock and tell them not to read it since you're the one who starts a new thread to point out each time it's been updated.

I wasn't slamming you - I was slamming Watson. I have watched him probably a dozen times in the last couple of years and he is a lazy, fat a33ed, slug. I know a lot of internet sites talk about him, but if he played for UAB instead of UM, no one would have heard of him.

How much money do you think Philly is going to tie up in their RB position? Westbrook fits their system. They aren't picking White.

The Broncos are much better at DT than DE. They are in no way set at DE. DT isn't a need position. They aren't about to spend a first round pick on that position.

DT is a total need position after Warren, there's just no one worth Denver's pick if Ngata and Bunkley aren't there, and they won't be.
