New Mexico has some great food. If your near Las Cruces via I-25 or I-10 let me know I'll buy. You can't get food like this in Wyoming

Dipso - there used to be a little family place right downtown Las Cruces that had one of the best meals I ever had. The coated chicken with ground pecans and cooked it in a wine, cheese and green chili sauce. I can still taste it from 7-8 years ago MMMM MMMM good.

Tejanos have their own ideas. Could always hit up Hatch Valley to get some chile. This isn't the stuff you buy at Wal-Mart. It's authenic good NM chile.

No I wish I could. Was a little place tucked between two one way streets right down town. There was a tile importer on the south side of town that took me there. Just thinking about it makes me want to drive all the way down there.

Isn't it just funny as all **** when you see kids in the back of a car ( parents oblivious ) and they're giving you guys the horn honking signal? You guys oblige. Then the parents **** themselves and drive off the road.

I'm speaking from experience here because as a kid that's just funny as all hell.

it can be funny , if the car leaves the road way or over corrects , then the humor is gone ....... But here is a funny story , young Kid driving Dad alseep in the passenger seat( got the bobble head thing going ) , young Kid in the back seat couldnt have been over 6 Year old ......gives the air horn sign , I blow the horn , Dad wakes up in a panic , starts smacking the shít out of the Kid driving .. meanwhile the little one is enjoying everything ..........

Depends on what you mean by worst .........
One run I had Tomatos on from Brighton Co.going to San Antonio texas , My refer quit , Had to haul áss to HEB market before they went bad ,then I hauled fresh Strawberrys out of texas to LA ...... went 3 blo****p and loaded frozen strawberrys back to texas..........as for difficult loads , Oversized Fiber glass buildings on a flatbed or Drop deck , these things are a pain in the ass .......
as for hard to pull loads , just about anything oversized and heavy through the mountians , even with my expierence , there are times I am white knuckled , ásshole puckered up , there is an old saying that I live by , you can go down a hill to slow for the rest of your life , you will go down 1 too fast ONCE!!!!!!!!!.............

Oh andto answer the song question ..........Prisioner of the highway Ronnie Milsap= greatest trucking song ever ........
Diesel power, eighteen wheels to rollin'
As I pull it on to the interstate
I've got thirteen hours to make my destination
And I don't want to stop to check my weight
Won't be no sleep for me tonight, no
Gotta be hittin' Tulsa by first mornin' light

Chorus:
Call me a prisoner of the highway
Driven on by my restless soul
I'm a prisoner of the highway
Imprisoned by the freedom of the road, yeah

I've run freight out of Wheeling West Virginia
And U.S. Steel from Bethlehem
And I've rolled tobacco out of the Carolinas
California winds into Birmingham
Some people work just to survive
But up here in this cab
Is the only time I'm alive

Chorus:
I'm a prisoner of the highway
Driven on by my restless soul
Call me a prisoner of the highway
Imprisoned by the freedom of the road, yeah

I've got a wife livin' back in Tennessee
Ronnie, she tries to understand the way I feel (Lord, have mercy)
Now I could give my hand to another line of work
But my heart would always be behind the wheel

Repeat First Chorus:

Don't ya know

Repeat Second Chorus:

We're prisoners of the highway (that's right)
Imprisoned by the freedom of the road
Yeah, we are prisoners of the highway (one more time)
Imprisoned by the freedom of the road
