Default Ravens released Boulware.

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Baltimore Ravens have released LB Peter Boulware.

Wonder if he could play DE?

He can play DE. I want to say he's done it before?

Negative.......nah

Just tired and frustrated that we lost out on Jamal Lewis. Carter wasn't major to me. I just wanted for Jake to have a serious weapon in the back field.

I was ready to assume it would be dealt with in the draft. But the the RMN reports Mike's looking to move out of the first round again.

Only a few on here can understand the hell I have to go threw living/working in Steeler country. Losing to them and watching them steal a title and have to hear about it every freak'n day........... it's driven me nuts.

Then Shanny goes all cybil and say's we want this on week and now it's well we really want this. Then theres the depleting cap money. Liek where did it go?

.......... all it will take is one solid FA on Offense and I'll chill out. But I'll blow up if he drops out out of the first round and a solid DE slips.

What many don't get is when I b*tch I care. If I didn't care I would just go around ho humming.
Winning a championship means more to me than just being competative year to year.

i hope any trades of draft picks aren't made until that pick comes up on draft day to assess who is there and who isnt...it is risky with the chance of our trade partner backing out, but i think it would ensure we do not miss out on someone special slipping like HEAV said

Ha, I think some one we do not expect will step up on O (Dayne Bell Watts Duke Terrell?) It's the DE position I think we need to address in FA or via trade. Carter hurt IMO

If they can move into the top of round two, and get a DE or RB, and save having to pay bonus money fine.

Just don't cheap yourself into a no win situation. It would be better to move up and trade away few late round picks.

I don't think he has anything left. Now Lance Johnstone on the other hand.

Boulware is all about the pass rush. 70 career sacks. He's been banged up though, and I don't think he played much last year.

He had 7.5 sacks last year. Thats 3.5 more then our leading guy. I'll take that stop gap. Combine him with a rookie it would look betteer.

If the Broncos cannot afford bonus money for pick 22 and pick 29 then there's something seriously wrong with our organisation.

Especially since the local media (with it's ever fluctuating cap reports) said we had something ridiculous like eight million bucks lying around for our rookie cap. No one knows what the hell is going on anymore, and I'd bet Shanny likes it that way.

I think Julian Peterson would make a better DE convert than Boulware. More left in the tank, too.

I'd ship a first this year for a future first, and an early 2nd this year. Try to find a team that will actually suck this season and give us an early selection in '07. Maybe Green Bay or San Fran.

I think we'll be shopping for the QBOTF next year, and with two picks again (hopefully one in the top 12 ors so) we could position ourselves to get the pick of the litter.

Peterson is an excellent blitzer, not a pass rusher.

Boulware has almost no cartiledge left on one of his knees.

No thanks to both.

If we're going to blow a huge signing bonus on someone, Peterson would be the guy to get. Unlikely as it may be.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any news regarding Peterson. He's a hell of a player. Maybe the injuries & price tag are keeping teams at bay.

This is a very good idea. Now if only we could find some team desperate enough to do that, I know Kubes owes us one

I am starting to wonder if the lawsuit the broncos are in with the past owner is not going very well and Bowlen is going to have to fork over alot money. Hence they are cash tight and can't afford the FA signing bonus and the 1st round signing bonus. Just a thought I am probably wrong
