Default Why I love Shanny

I have differed in opinion with what Shanny has done. See Justin Miller, Maurice Clarette, but I have learned that agreeing with what Shanny does is just smart. I'm on board with all acquisitions Shanny decides on.
Bring in T.O.!
Bring in Williams!
bring in Abe
bring in Givens
I'm on board with all the moves AS LONG AS SHANNY AGREES WITH IT

If Shanny wants any player I'm on board because Shanny is a friggin genius. I'm serious!!! In football speak. He is a genius. He has made a couple of mistakes I.E Dale Carter, He made mistakes because he is a gambler, but the only mistake that really hurt Denver was Greise. He thought Griese was the man and I know after he went 14tds and 4 ints many of us thought the same.

Greise is behind us and we have to realize that Shanny is not only a great coach but he really does know how to build a team. Griese "***ed" Denver out of two years and sent them backwards, but that is over now.

I have total trust in Shanny and his decisions. He can bring in Lewis or Williams..... If he likes them, I like them and I know that if I back Shanny I will be right way more often than any of the naysayers and the doomsday people here on the Mane.

I have the rep by being a homer which I am BUT, Shanny gives me reason to be a homer! The guy is great. People talk about Denver's drafts..... Well, look at other teams drafts! Therer are very few teams that have better draft records than Denver.

The best thing I like about Shanny is that he has balls!! He doesn't care what you think, he doesn't care what the experts think. He relies on his scouts and his own gut and he will live and die with those decisions. I love that!! How many teams pass up on a guy in the draft or free agency because it isn't a good P.R. move?? If Shanny likes a guy(Darrent Williams) he will select him even if other players are rated ahead of him. He might be wrong but at least he is his own man.... How many teams if in the same situation as Denver last year would have had the balls to select Williams over Justin Miller I say almost zero.

All You Bronco fans take off that bit of doubt or that permenant scorn from your subconscience, it's the offseason and if you know anything, Denver will be one of the most active teams in the league......... Why is this?? Because you have a coach and an owner that isn't afraid to make decisions.

Atlas, this is a great post!

I've often said that we should just sit back and trust Shanny. We've been a winning team ever since he showed up and have won 2 Super Bowls under him. Players love him and many people want to come play in Denver.

Shanny will have his mistakes like Carter and IHOP, but I'm still gonna support him 100%

Shanny's got 2 rings, and got us within a game of the Superbowl last season. That's a lot better track record (even with the ups and downs of a few moves) than anyone posting on the internet. Then again, I love to monday morning coach too.

C'mon Zach... pick a coach, pick any of the... 4 (?) that KC has had the last decade. Which one makes you all warm and fuzzy?

Speaking of the Broncos' drafts, they are the ONLY team in the last 10 years to NOT have a top 10 pick in any draft. The fact that the Broncos remain competitive despite drafting in the bottom 10 of every round speaks volumes.

Good idea!!

Let's just say that no avatars that would elevate me to a Bob-like level of ridicule, will be allowed! Other than that, I'm a good sport :

People forget that. It's like all the moves Shanny made last year that were critizied are now forgotten and so that gives us a new pass at ripping his signings this year. Which haven't really begun or ended.

100+ wins in 11 seasons as Broncos head coach. Of those 11 years, have been in the playoffs 7 times. Won the AFC West 3 times, the AFC twice, superbowl twice. There is no other coach I want in Denver.
