Bum Jr. and I are coming to CO on Tuesday evening for a few days of skiing and the places I'm checking on the internet including Travelocity want $300 for an economy car from Tues. nite to 6 am on Sunday morning. That figures out to $75 dollars a day which is ridiculous for an economy car. I've always got a rental car for less than 30 bucks per day. Does anyone know of any car rental places that are more reasonable in the Denver area? Any help would be much appreciated!

I would recommend Priceline BB. That's what I usually use.

ok Bum...I broke off a pm to you. Let me know if one of those companies works for ya.......
I called the first one on the list. He said he has mid-size going for $35 bucks a day. He didn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed though. |

enterprise is by far the best. Plus you can get a coupon on the net for 10 to 25% off usually.

Thanks for the advice. After much research and after talking w/ Meck, I discovered that Spring Break @ college week had arrived and thats why prices had went thru the roof. Meck gave me some numbers for independent car rentals off site from DIA and I was able to rent a car for $110. Quite a difference from the original $290 quoted by Travelocity, Cheaptickets and the like. Anyhow, mission accomplished and the Orange Mane has another purpose achieved. Helping out w/ car rental!!!

![]() If you want it for free find some Chief fans and play a couple hands of pokers. I know you can take those fools. There are probably a couple of them living at the motel behind the restaurant. |
