It would be a great TO-alternative.

What's the word on Joe J.? Did he re-sign?

When healthy Parker has played great ball when needed...i remember one pretty rough game...but a deep threat and does what is asked of gim within our offense. I think he still appreciates you guys trying to play defense and giving him his first touchdown.

One player does what is needed from him whereas I keep hearing another is going to break out. No worries. This will be the year he does.

Technically, the 1,000 yard year Lelie had would be his "breakout year" Also, like you said, Lelie does what our offense asks of him. Leading the NFL 2 years running in YPC means he is the deep threat he was drafted to be.

You really think he has done all that is needed in Denver?

The power of positive thinking.

He is a good player...I like the guy. Lets not act like he has filled the shoes you have wanted him too though.

If he appreciates a garbage time touchdown for the sake of his personal stats, he's a true Chef. He'll fit right in with the rest of the me-first guys you've got on offense.

Ha, the guy has never shown any me first qualities...

If laying it on a team that quit makes you a me first player then I don't know what to tell you bud.

Laying it on a team that quit? The Broncos were just bored from laying it on a team that didn't show up.

But hey, Parker showed up to get a meaningless TD in the waning seconds of what was then a 30-3 game. Definitely a Dick ForMeals kind of guy.

You couldn't be anymore wrong.

Sorry bud his first touchdown was at Arrowhead. The team that quit was Denver. It was his first start.

It's true, Ash is good, but I don't think a #1 type of guy. Someone like givens could take over for Rod in a couple seasons.

Kffl reported earlier that Givens has not signed. It was a false report. I will try and find the link.

it looks like the two big winners in free agency so far are probably going to be lecharles bentley and david givens.

That's dumb, I would much rather have Jurevicious or Brian Finneran, if we can't get T.O.

You would rather have Brian Finneran over Givens? Hmm...

Jurevicious isn't leaving Seattle either.

David Givens:
He does a nice job of using his body to shield from the defender and will regularly snag balls over the middle and make catches in traffic. He is not one of those guys that needs time to build speed and for a big receiver, he gets to his top gear in a hurry. He is very effective in the red zone because of his size and ability to physically go up and get jump balls. He is really improved with his overall consistency and has the makings of a go-to receiver. He doesn't have any glaring athletic weaknesses. He can either play a speed game in which he is probably very much underrated, or he can also play a power game and use his physicality as a receiver to get the pass offense some tough catches.

Sounds like a great fit for our system. He's sure looked unstoppable, at times. I didn't realize he was 6'0". He looks smaller, to me.
