Default North Carolina at Duke

The biggest rivalry in college basketball continues tonight as the Tar Heels take on the Blue Devils. Before the season started, I would have been estatic with a .500 season for UNC after losing May, Felton, McCants and Manual from last year's national championship team. Well, they have exceeded my expectations by far. They're the 13th ranked team in the nation and really look like they deserve it after the last few games. I gotta give a lot of credit to the man at the top for doing an excellent job of coaching a team full of freshmen. You da man Roy! A win over Duke tonight would really be icing on the cake heading into ACC tournament play next week. GO HEELS!!

Duke will probably win, UNC has lost 4 straight at Cameron and the Blue Devils are coming off a loss against FSU.

Not only the best college basketball rivalry, but you'd have to make a case for best sports rivalry, as well.

When you add all things in such as year to year records/rankings, Nationla Championships or Final Four's between the two, the epic battles they seem to have every year and some of the faces that have come out of each school...It's simply amazing when you think about it.

Here's hoping for another classic tonight.

Go Heels!

Army vs Navy is #1 period. In basketball though, it's Duke vs NC.

GO DUKE!

UNC vs Duke is like choosing between North Korea and Iran. Wake me up for the NCAA tournament. Until then, it's all garbage time.

Every year, which is more than I can say for OSU-Michigan. My dad was a midshipman. They also have the best tradition in all of sports when both teams stand for the playing of each school's song.

Can't believe you didn't have faith in them Faderproof! I'll have to say that it's taken me almost all year to really believe in this team, but they have gained my respect over the course of the last four or five games.

You can't get to heaven on a maize and blue sleigh, because God's favorite colors are scarlet and gray.

If I was a betting man, I would've taken UNC +7.5 in a heartbeat, but didnt think they could pull it off with such a young group visiting Cameron for the very first time.

Hansborough didnt play like an 18 year old frosh though, wonder how bad it must suck to be Sheldon Williams, 4 years older and on seniors night gets shown up by the rookie.

Great game, Tyler's 3 pointer clinched it all(as soon as he shot it I remember yelling "What the hell are you doing shooting that shot?", but I re-****ed that statement once it went in), and here's to a UNC vs. Ohio State NCAA championship final on April 3rd, it would mark the only time I would ever not cheer for the Heels.

I'll admit that I wasn't overly confident going into last nights game but gave them a decent chance because of the way they've been manhandling the other ACC teams recently. Pressure just doesn't seem to affect these freshmen. I was a little irritated with Danny Green towards the end of the game when he shot that three instead of using the clock and then fouling right after Duke got the ball back. It was part of that run by Duke that cut an 11 point lead to 3. Roy should get heavy consideration for coach of the year for what he's done with this group. The ACC tournament is going to be fun.

What do I care if the Gayheels have more bandwagon fans than anyone.

Until they beat Duke, not one peep out of them all season.
