Andy Etchebarren replaced Yogi Berra at catcher on the All Ugly Team. Apparently he believed signing his autograph multiple times might distract people from his jaggedly asymetrical features and Leonid Brezhnev meets Brooke Shields eyebrows. It didn't work.

Ernie "The Schnozz" Lomabardi. He preceded Yogi Berra at catcher on the All Ugly Team. Ernie was also arguably the slowest baserunner who ever played the game. He was thrown out at first base on hard hits balls into right field on more than one occasion. Despite this, he still won two National League Batting Titles and batted over .300 ten times.
