It may depend on where you're selling from, as state laws can vary.
I've sold tickets before, out of Denver and Albuquerque, and they have gone above face value and I've had no problems. I think the only rule is that you must start your auction at net face value or below. Meaning, if your tickets are $15, you must start at $15 or below for one ticket, $30 or less for two tickets, etc. |

Ebay will apply the certain rules depending on the state you live in or the state the buyer is from. If you are from a state that has limits, you could post the tickets as something else (say a baseball card) and then say you will throw in the tickets with the baseball card free of charge. Just include the tickets in your subject line so people find them.
Good luck.. |

I wouldn't list the seat number for no other reason that the Sox won't shut you out of future sales of tickets. But if I remember correctly you live in New Hampshire. I don't think the state of NH can go after you on an event that takes place in Massachusetts.

The following was included in the congratulations email:
NOTE: MLB game dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and/or the Boston Red Sox, as applicable, and may be subject to change. All tickets purchased in connection with the drawing shall be subject to those policies applicable to Red Sox ticket holders generally; as such the Red Sox from time to time in their sole discretion may amend policies. You may not resell any tickets purchased in connection with the drawing or use such tickets for any promotional purposes whatsoever. Im not sure if it applies to people not residing in Mass. |
