"When our day's work is done, we watch the six o'clock news and grow weary from too much television. In that dark, waiting state, between 'lights out' and the welcome veil of sleep, our minds will often query the reason for our being. I know I did!"

Its too early to read that whole thing but this first part jumped out at me. I dont know about anyone else but the time of "lights out and the welcome veil of sleep" my find often query's if the prospects of getting some look good or not

It's a fascinating read. I highly recommend it. I have friends who have journeyed there and come back with amazing stories. I was reluctant to post this because of some of the posters we share the BB with but I decided if if helped one person it would worth the dumb ass posts that are sure to come.

I know this is a long read but it will be a great discussion if you take the time to read it and let me say I personally know people that have experienced this

I started to read it, but I will admit that I did not read it all. I believe this person is the same one that Primetime did an investigative report on. John Quińones (the guy that always is the guina pig for that show it seems) did a special report on him. I found it very interesting.

Incisions appearing complete with stitches without any contact...

I think that, if true, would threaten many people's beliefs on this board and it is highly documented and supported by videos.

Baja I read the story but sounds pretty far out there to me. You say you've seen this. If its not to personal or something you should share what you saw.

I guess i'll share something.

I have a problem with ear infections. I had this one that actually ended up ripping my eardrum and i have a hole in it now -

Well this MF'er hurt - couldn't eat or sleep - so i did this meditation, and i pictured my ear, and i went into my ear and i 'cleared' out the infection.

upon waking the next morning, no ear infection, gone.

Mind over matter.

There's some other things i've been working on, but will share when the time is right.

Hotrod, I did not see this personally but a person i completely trust did. She had a chronic hip problem. She tried every therapy she could find over the years to no avail. She went to this place in Brazil and stood before this man for only a few seconds. She did not get immediate relief but in about 2 months her pain went away and she was completely cured. I am going there in June so I will report my experience to you all then.

For both amesj & Baja,

I certainly believe in mind over matter. You have to wonder if thats not what happened to Baja's friend no She truely believed this person was going to cure her and her mind worked the actually magic.

Joćo Teixeira da Faria ... has been tested and examined by the best scientific minds this planet can muster.
First of all, I doubt this claim because I cannot find any reports by any scientist (much less any scientist which is the best "this planet can muster") regarding tests of Joćo Teixeira da Faria "power."

Second of all, I didn't see any reports of him restoring missing limbs or raising someone from the dead.

People that had been in a wheelchair for 50 years got up and walked

Incisions and stitches appeared where no hand touched then

Thousands of hours of this on video.

This is not a mind over matter issue

There are many doubters that have received healing as well.

magic is the direction of will over 'physical' matter. I believe hermetic law applies for these matters.

This guy is the humblest of men, will take no money and works 12 to 14 hours a day seeing thousands of people at a sitting. He has been persecuted and beaten for his efforts since he was 16

or would the devil say he's doing things for the right reasons, hiding behind lies - whilst pushing the world to the 'end' times.... i mean, isn't the devil to bring a united middle east, could it be 'democracy'...

Sure he does. A happy/healthy person is quick to start worshipping the dollar/sex/material possessions and forget whats important.

So what you are saying is that Pain and Suffering are what's important.
