Madden Roster Update - The Orange Mane

I played on Xbox Live today for the first time in a few weeks and saw the new roster update..

it single handedly was responsible for me beating the colts this afternoon...that and my dynamic passing game that i step up a notch when teams try to stack the line and stop the run.

Colts were matching me drive for drive.. dink and dunks mostly..then: DJ Williams burst through the line and hit Peyton in the hip, sending him to the sidelines.. when Sorgi came in, he was picked off by Darrent Williams who is now an 85 overall with a 96 for speed. I believe they upped his catch ability too because he first tipped the ball like twice and then came up with it.

Plummer and Warren have also been upgraded... Plummer for the first time in his Madden career is above 90 with a 91! Warren is an 86 now.

i was a little dissapointed that Furgy wasn't upgraded, Fox too...but overall a good update...

just a little something to keep our minds off the chaos

I've avoided Madden ever since EA monopolised the NFL license, but I'm curious as to what the ratings for the RBs are.

I was playing drunk last weekend. I got on last night and saw I traded Lelie for Bouldin and a 1st rounder. Signed and released Ricky Williams. I was the starting RB...and I was good! I gotta stop doing that.

they overrate everyones overalls. They are supposed to judge players by their previous season yet Warner every year is no worse than an 85 and Vick is always a 95 aside from the fact he cant throw.
What i did was releasethe Saints, change their name to Mexico City Desperados..move them to mexico city...and create all my friends. got 53 friends on the team and started it off with everyone adjusted for the pros with noone better than an 80.
that got fun..but then it got boring as everyone became amazing at their positions without going up.
Figured id share..cuss im bored

I still use the original because i played the new one on 360 and i wasn't really impressed enough to shell out over 400 bucks for everything. They really rushed to get that new one out..

Next year's will be GREAT, and 360 will be cheaper, no doubt in my mind.

oh by the way, Anderson is an 87 and Bell is an 86 with some dynamite speed. 96 i believe for speed.

Vick is so high cause the scrambling stats are calculated into the overall rating. Plus he has great arm strength. The qb stats that matter, awareness and throwing accuracy, are pretty bad for vick.

yeah D will went from a 75 in the beginning to an 85. some people at maddenation were saying it was bogus

I've never checked his awarness but i def would assume it would be piss poor.
and yeah your right about the scrambling shooting his overall up big time.

Rasc go to maddennation.com to the downloads section(towards the top). there are people on there that have them in their EA lockers. you can get them there.

If you mean you got em from people lockers go back to the regular madden home i believe its 'My Madden' load/save go to your rosters i think they should be there

No, only Putzier, Alexander, Leach, and Jackson. At least not in the latest version for the PC, which I assume is the same.

My PS2 had to get sent in for a new one, apparently I was crushing the competition so bad my PS2 felt bad about it and burned itself out.
