Default Brad Smith

This has been one guy I thought would get talked about some here in Big 12 country. I don't think he can be an NFL QB, but he is an excellent athlete.

Do you think he can be converted to a RB (I believe he broke the Big 12 rushing record for a QB), a WR or ??

He's a guy I'd love to see drafted and turned into a WR. GREAT athlete. I think Pittsburgh's success with ARE and Hines Ward will make Smith and Penn State's Robinson popular targets for a similiar move this year.

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing. They are both quality guys too from what I hear. Snag one of them in the 5th or 6th round and give them a year to learn to play WR? i've seen worse ideas posted here.

Brad Smith has a knack for Seeing the Seam, Getting to that seam and turning it into a big game...

Didn't he have close to a 500 yard game this year, well over half of it on the ground...

He also graduated early and was attending grad school during this season. Wasn't against Nebraska that he had the big game? I remember watching him against Texas and thinking how he seemed to have great vision.

It'd be great if we could get him because he could automatically be our 3rd string qb since we don't carry one usually. Just in case our 2nd stringer somehow got injured we'd have pretty good insurance with such a great athlete behind center.
