Default Be honest

Who are you hoping looks bad at the combine so that his stock falls and puts him within the Broncos reach? No shame in admitting it, we all do it.

Mine are Kiwanuka and LenDale White. I've been on Kiwanuka's bandwagon for a while now and the thought of landing him at 22 seems ideal. There's nothing wrong with him that can't be corrected through coaching. If LenDale runs a slower than expected 40 time, he could slide right to us.

I know I'm dreaming here, but stranger things have happened.

Michael Huff. I'm hoping for a pedestrian 4.55 40 time and maybe 10 reps. In all likelyhood though, he probably runs a 4.45 and has 18-20 reps.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Jeremy Bloom run in the 4.5 range. I doubt it happens b/c he has been preparing, but if he's in the 4.5 range then he lasts until the 5th or 6th round easily.

Since we're on the topic of being honest... Be honest, would you take Marcus Vick in the 4th or 5th round?

Vick in the 4th? Not so much.

Vick in the 6th? Maybe...I wouldn't complain.

No, I honestly wouldn't. I was never overly impressed with him even before he got booted off the team. Let someone else draft and ultimately release him.

I agree on both. Also Vernon Davis and, what the hell, Mario Williams. Haha!

Oh, DeAngelo Williams too.

One thing that is funny is that most of the time we arnt real happy talking about drafting a 1rst round TE but almost all of us are talking about Vernon this year.

Id be very surprised to see LenDale run the 40 in Indy or even at his pro day.

He'd have to run something like 4.7 to slip to us, though, should he decide to run.

Meh, what he runs there is meaningless... to me anyways. He's has pretty good deceptive speed on the field.

I am not a big fan of Kiki, I think he has a high bust factor. I want the Brick but I don't think he will slide 20 spots....that guy is a beast LT....

I have taken the Vernon Davis highlight tape and sealed in the Kennedy vault, not to be opened for 20 years....

I also have a hit man ready to hit his leg with a pipe ala the Tonya Harding School of Hard Knocks....

I'd say no to Vick as well. He's gonna have to change positions plus he brings bad character. I would gladly take a shot at Reggie McNeal in the 4th round though. Bigger, Faster, and a better thrower than Vick! McNeal is everybit as good as BVP... He'd be our #2 fairly soon, maybe not in year one b/c of the offense, but soon!

I think Kiwi will be there at no.22, but a bad combine could push him down to no.29.

The one player above us who could slide to no.22 with a bad work out and a good work out by other players at his position is DeAngelo Williams.
Still don't think he will fall that far, but could get him close enough to a cheap trade up.

I would love to come away from the 1st round with Bunkley and Hali/Kiwi, but not sure what order they would have to be taken in

I hope DeAngelo Williams falls to us because of his height only. He had a great Senior Bowl. The guys who fall before the draft end up being busts many times. But, doesn't it seem like the guys that rise and are reaches are the ones that make better pros? (Matt Jones, George Foster, D-Will better than Justin Smith)

Lol, he'll probably fall cuz he grew up idolizing Ricky Williams, like Cedric Benson last year. Brilliant!!!
