He actually was an alternate to the pro-bowl though he should have made it in outright. Anyway, the 12.5 sacks were probably the impetus to this more than the pro-bowl was.

Well while I agree with you the pro-bowl really put him in the spot light. There was a reason why he had 12.5 sacks and didn't make the pro-bowl. Lack of people understanding just how good he can be. I would have to say that game forced Tenn to up his bonus some. JMO

One thing about a contract like this is that to many people $$$ is more important than winning ...

thats an unfair asessment, unless u are some rich superstar veteran IMO u should go for the most money. not to imply u dont want to win but the NFL is a brutal place, if I was bosch I would go max $$$ for sure, I mean hell he's been injured for fricking ever it could come back at any time.

Our D-linemen have usually performed well in the NFL, Neil Smith and Wistrom being one of the most recent ones.

He played for the league minimum. Had a tremendous year. Has an opportunity to cash in & you blame him for going for the money rather than take less & go to a possible winning team? Whose to say the Titans aren't going to be an awesome team in two years? Whose to say the teams that are good right now will be good two years from now?

Denver needs to start drafting from their Dline.

Yeah, I know Im just saying we sould draft NU dlineman in the following years. these guys lead the nation in sacks and dominated O linemen. all of them have motors that won't quite. of course I could only wish we get some of them because im a diehard cornhusker fan.

Me too, and I agree with you. I wouldn't mind landing Titus or Le Kevin later in this draft this year.

It would just be nice to see some black shirts play on our D. Everyone that has played on Nebraska defense has done well in the nfl. Ruud has done ok in Tampa, Demario is playing exeptionally well, grant wistrom kick ass. The only one is Fabian Washington. Just because he is a Raider. I was pissed when he turned to a Raider cause I knew he was going to get demolished by our Offense. Oh well. Anyway Titus adams and smith if they came here would definitely help us but I don't think shanny would give them starting jobs unless they outperformed the browncos.

Drafting DE and building that front is a must in this draft, if we spend all 10 or so of our picks on DL i wont be mad at all. Maybe a little, but still, we gotta find that talent!!!

This is great news.

It means that Abraham and Darren Howard just added a few millions to their worth when they hit FA. I don't trust Bosch and think that his year there was great but kind of a fluke.

All this means is that Denver will have to do the right thing and actually draft a DE in the first round.

Or trade for another one. They landed 2 via trades last season and 1 after he was cut.
