Somewhat related, The Texans exercised QB David Carr's contract option, keeping him with the team through 2008. The option is worth $8 million. It is highly unlikely that the Texans will consider drafting Vince Young now, unless they tried to trade Carr.
I'm guessing either they pick Bush, which I don't get since they have Dom Davis, they trade down, or they pull a Dave and pick the Brick. |

Well I like the Jennings pick better than the Blue pick, based on who they had available. Jennings could turn out to be a big surprise - has size and speed. A couple of pretty decent DEs went in the early third.

We will not select a TE in the first or second. We have Putz and I believe that Shanny likes Duke. Duke was active a lot and played a good deal towards teh end of the year, and going to Europe to play is just to get him more experience. I think our TE's next year are going to be Putz and Duke with somebody else for blocking purposes.
I like the Bunkley pick though. |

I'd be ok with that, not thrilled, just ok.
I like Greg Blue but he isn't the type of S we need. He is basically Kenoy Kennedy Jr. |

I'd really like that draft. Hopefully we'd get a fist full of 3rd round comps to grab OL and DE (ideally Eslinger and Adeyanju) too, but Vernon Davis at #22 is a steal, and I'm a big fan of Bunkley. Greg Blue is a good pick as a starting SS in a year when Lynch retires. Not perfect, but definatley good.

No way you can pass on Davis if he's there at #22, and I don't think you can pass on Bunkley at #29. I would take Hass over Blue. Blue would be a great S in the mid 90s, but not in today's NFL.

I like your idea about Adeyanju but would preffer never to see another under sized OL that get bullied by the bigger stronger DL put on a bronco unni again. |
