Default Seattle fans reasons/excuses for losing

Touchdown called back. First and goal at the one called back. Bunch of BS in between.

i'm not a seattle fan, but alot of those calls were BS. the officiating was pretty pathetic. Porter horse-collared alexander, there was no hold on seattle, and hasselbeck got penalized for a tackle.

Heh, so you are in the business of sitting around blaming games on the ref for other teams as well?

Bwahahaha

that was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen in a title game in ANY professional sport.

I don't believe in the football destiny crap, but looking at all those crazy things that have happened among the last three wins for pittsburgh you have to scratch your head.

Seattle gets calls on touchdowns, drops many first down catches, interceptions at the most inoppurtune times, Denver with the 4 picks that were instead big offensive plays, Indy and the crazy stuff in that game... damn this Steelers season will go down in history as one of the greatest.

Right. This from someone who frequents ChefsPlanet. From what I hear the Broncos can't win a game without one of your pals over there claiming that Shanahan made his "ref payments."

Spare me.

Seattle receivers played poorly. Hasselbeck played valiantly.

MVP for the Steelers and the game should be the officials. Worst officiating in a super bowl I've ever seen. Pitt was holding on a lot of plays baltantly and it never got called.

LOW block called ...on a DEFENSIVE player:? {Hasselbeck} WTF was THAT?

I'm glad Bettis got his ring...but Seattle was the better 11 man team. Pitt was playing with 15 men the whole game.

Great, we are making excuses for Seattle now? funny how no one was making excuses here for the Patriots and some of the questionable calls there. I saw multiple non-calls on holding for the Seahawks. hell one guy virtually tackled the player right in front of Hasselbeck.

I have to agree on the officiating. A hold that even Madden can't see. A push-off in the EZ that isn't a push off. etc. Just plain stunk.

I was more impressed with Seattle's performance than Pittsburgh's actually.

I thought they were going to pull it out at half time but the offense just didn't do enough. I thought the defense played well enough to win esp when you look at how the offense couldnt quite punch it in. You can only stop the Steelers for so long.

There are people here who do just that. I wish it wasn't true, but it is.

Kind of like Whitlock and Chefs fans, eh?

Seattle lost because they scored 11 fewer points. Some of the calls were suspect, but thats how it goes.
