So work has been a little slow lately, so the boss takes a vacation. We have fun every day here, but today this guy goes and buys us all Nerf N-Strike firefly guns. Holds 8 glow in the dark darts, and lights up when it shoots.

I can't believe I get paid this much to have fun! Cool thing is, when the boss gets back, she won't care, she'll join in too!

What do you do at work to have fun?

I had a smoking Power supply in a Dell Poweredge 6600 yesterday!

When I found which one it was & took it out goo came out one side. The dell Tech gave me an Attitude & said usually they don't cover electrical problems because a Breaker should trip but he "Did me a favor" So I ripped him a new one. I almost had to call the FD in because I could smell smoke but not find the source. That would have shut us down for hours if not the day!

Any way I found the server & the Powersupply & had it back up in 30 min, maybe I will get my DR site now.

We've had everything from Socker Bopper fights to throwing stuff off the 12th floor roof (Watermelons, 5 lb container of potato salad, etc.)

I had an employee once who took a dump every day at 10:10 am. I could almost set my clock to his dump. He should have been working at the atomic clock in Boulder in case their system ever went down, they'd have a reliable back up...
