Default Hooray for Tivo

So last night, before headin out to do a little Thursday night partying, my friend busted out some of the BEST Tivo recordings I've ever seen.
Here are a few that sparked a trip down memory lane:

1. Slap's avatar - the great White Bronco goin for the first down in SB XXXII.

Holy cow, I had totally forgotten how intense that play was. Watching it in slow motion from about 10 different angles brought the emotion flooding right back. John Elway, you are the man. Watching him fly through the air, and getting flipped around like a propeller. Craziness. One of the best all time plays in football. The magnitude of that play will live on forever.

2. Eddie Mac putting a BEATDOWN on Brian Williams, also SB XXXII

GOOD LORD EDDIE! When you see the play, Griffith is plowin along, and Williams looks like he's got the angle. THEN - LIKE WHITE LIGHTNING - in the bottom corner of the screen comes the HUUUUUUUGE block. When you see the second replay from the good angle, it's just a bone jarring smack that reminds us why we don't want to play in the NFL. THE BEST part of the play however, comes right after the hit. Eddie towers over the now thouroghly humiliated (and probably amnesiated) williams and points that finger....i'm guessing he was saying "AND STAY DOWN B****) CLASSIC!

3. Ok, I'm really not too sure who was playing in the college game they had on next, but, it was one of the craziest college football hits i've ever seen. I think the Safety's name was London? Maybe? I dunno. Basically, he comes blitzing from the left side UNTOUCHED, QB never even saw him coming. This kid hits the qb so hard that he does a BACKFLIP once he connects with the ground. UN BE LIEVABLE!!! Seriously the hardest college hit i've EVER seen.

Anyways, what's your favorite moment in recent memory that you can keep rewinding, playing, rewinding, playing, and getting excited about no matter how many times you see it?

haha, gotta love tivo. With comcast I've got my DVR deal, I was able to record the Broncs/Falcons highlights yesterday, but missed recording the GB highlights.

The finger pointing by eddie mac was sweet.
