He has Deangelo Williams going #30 to Indi?? If that guy is there at 22 Denver shoud snag him. He would provide another added weapon for the offense.

He is a little short and doesnt have the breakaway speed, has injuries, and played at lower level competition. That is how i would see it happening.

I disagree. He is a little short he is fast enough and injuries haven't been a huge issue.

Here is a list that I have been looking at He has Williams as the best back in the draft and the 9th best player overall. If he falls to 22 Denver should grab him. I don't think he will though.

SoCals link: http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/rankings.html

The following are Scott Wright's positional rankings for the 2006 NFL Draft. Please note that where players are rated does not necessarily reflect where the players may go in the draft, but merely where he personally has them ranked. Keep in mind this is very early.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scott Wright's Top 32 Players for the 2006 NFL Draft
Player Class Position School
1. Reggie Bush JR RB Southern Cal
You won't find a more explosive, dynamic playmaker in the country.
2. D'Brickashaw Ferguson SR OT Virginia
A franchise left tackle with amazing athleticism and nimble feet.
3. Matt Leinart SR QB Southern Cal
Could have gone #1 overall in 2005 and is the frontrunner again.
4. Vince Young JR QB Texas
Has all the physical tools in the world but is very raw as a passer.
5. Mario Williams JR DE North Carolina St.
Might ultimately be the best DE prospect since Julius Peppers in '02.
6. A.J. Hawk SR OLB Ohio St.
Standout who is seemingly all over the field and in on every play.
7. Haloti Ngata JR DT Oregon
Has the type of size and athleticism that every pro team dreams of.
8. Michael Huff SR S Texas
Ballhawk in the secondary who projects to either S or CB in the pros.
9. DeAngelo Williams SR RB Memphis
Productive player who is far and away the best senior at his position.
10. Chad Greenway SR OLB Iowa
Skills have drawn some favorable comparisons to Brian Urlacher.
11. Santonio Holmes JR WR Ohio St.
Polished WR who is a big play threat but also does the little things.
12. Vernon Davis JR TE Maryland
Amazing physical specimen who will be a true workout warrior.
13. Jimmy Williams SR CB Virginia Tech
Former safety who has an ideal combo of size, speed and athleticism.
14. Mathias Kiwanuka SR DE Boston College

Here is a mock having Williams going 17th to the Vikings. I think that is more likely than him falling to 30.

SoCals link: http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.html

It is easy to blame the teams extreme drop-off in offensive production on the loss of Randy Moss and while that was a factor you'd be remiss not to note the lack of a running game as well. Basically the team doesn't have a runner who they can give the ball to 20-25 times a game and have carry the load. Michael Bennett will be a free agent who is not likely to return, Mewelde Moore is injury-prone and best suited for a 3rd down or situational role, Moe Williams is only a short yardage runner at this point and the jury is still out on Ciatrick Fason. DeAngelo Williams doesn't get nearly the attention he deserves but he is going to be a great NFL running back and would be an excellent fit for Minnesota here. A natural runner with great instincts, Williams is one of the most productive running backs in college football history and his addition would give this franchise the top threat in the running game that they have been lacking since Robert Smith retired. Linebacker is also a pressing concern for the Vikings and someone like Chad Greenway here would make a ton of sense as well, but adding a premier running back would be just what the doctor ordered to restore the luster to what was once an extremely dangerous offense.

Exactly - anyone can make a website and proclaim themselves to be an expert. Only a couple of these draft guys even know a pro scout's name let alone know how the players are evaluated.

DeAngelo Williams is the NCAA all time leader in all purpose yardage and 100 yard games. I can't believe you can be that productive and injury prone at the same time.

Realistically,
I like the guy Bunkley DT from Fla State. The guy is athletic and huge, and reminds me of Darnell Dockett who is tearing it up. He may slip to 2nd round which would be great.

You know, for all the **** you people are giving this guy, history has shown that people here at Om are just as good at making Mock drafts than these experts.

The guy seems to know his stuff, give him some credit.

I was not ripping on him. I don't know who he is, nor did I look at it. Mock drafts are just kinda silly to me. They never come to fruition and the analysis of the players seems to be the only worthwhile pre-draft regimen.

All this bozo has done is copied other mocks online. Do a search and you will see 100 different self proclaimed experts waiting for idiots to choose them as the next coming of Mel Kiper. Joey's picks changed so much in 2 days even his head is spinning. Mocks are just like our mock, all aroma and no substance.

the more I think about this the more uneasy it makes me, its more need drafting. also it didnt seem like we were very creative in personnel use on known passing or probable passing downs. what about getting chuckwarah or engleberger or even use ian gold flanked wide as rushers and take out our bigger guys. perhaps move pryce inside.

as point the rams and vikings both I believe have all 1st round dlineman and its gotten them exactly nowhere. I dont want to go down that path.

We do put pryce inside on obvious passing downs.

When it came to blitzing i thought we were one of the more aggressive and creative ones out there until it just got to the point where the effectiveness worn down.

Chuckwarah was a mystery though. I thought he would have a bigger role in this defense.
