The nearest Jack in the Box is about 2 hours from here (outside St. louis.)

Yep, I've taken that drive just for the food. Couple times...

St. Louis is a $#ithole.

There's no way I'd go there sober.

But I don't do the drunk driving thing anymore.

That's the perks of having a g/f...

I prefer barbeque to burgers. It's actually better for you if you do it right.

Fuddrucker's introduced a Buffalo Burger awhile ago that is supposedly better for you. I would rather have a good salad than eat that burger. Tofu burgers? Oh man! What are you doing! Just go get what you really want!

Mayo is supposedly the killer. A dollop of Mayo has about 9 million calories and could feed a small family of third world nationals. A burger by itself is never bad it's more than 16 ounces (instead of 3 ounces) of meat, the deep fried fries, the high calorie tasty shake, the bread, the mayo, the piping hot apple pie....recipe for a food coma.

No more Jack in the Box for me. I get sick even thinking about that place. Last week I had a Jombo Jack. A couple hours later my stomack started to hurt a bit. I thought it was just stress. Running my own business has been stressing me out, then the Broncos blow the title game.

The burger I ate tasted a little different than it normally does, but it wasn't bad, so I didn't think anything of it. When I got home I had the runs. Then I could just feel the food ready to come up. Man I threw up five times. I could barely walk. Was was worn out just walking to the bathroom. I've never thrown up like that. I didn't feel good for another day.

F#@% Jack and his box. I should have gone to the hospital, then I would have been able to sue that bastard.

Remember the scene in Undercover Brother, where dude was eating the Mayo? Man, that's so true, black folks don't like mayo. I can't stand the sight of that stuff. I was rolling in Undercover Brother when he was staring at that big glob of mayo. He was trying to fight it.

Does anyone remember Taco House on Federal? That place was great they had like $2 all you can eat tacos. We would get all glazed eyed and see what all you can eat actually meant.

I'll bet you don't remember your first Jack in the Box Ultimate Double Cheesburger or Carls Jr. Sourdough bacon doublecheeseburger, though.

I feel the same way. Mayo is sick. Whomever invented mayo should be shot...twice.
Undercover brother was pretty hilarious too.

by the way, in-and-out is pretty damn good. It's not all that expensive and the food probably won't kill you as fast as other places. On top of that, it has always been there for me when i needed something to get my stomach to start trusting my brain again.
The one in Victorville is right off the 15 freeway & main st. . Coming from L.A. after you go up and over the cahon pass its about 5 miles or so to main st. I believe if you wait to see in & out burger than you missed the exit , because the overpass kind of blocks it from view. I think their billboard sign blew away from the high winds we get often here in the high desert.

I think the one on 88th-ish and Washington is still there. My mother still swears to this day that they used government cheese and that's what made their food so good.

When I was kid in Colorado Springs, there used to be placed call red top or something like that. Just remember that single burger used to feed whole family.
