Justin Reed
2 2nd round picks

Boston gets
Wally Szczerbiak
Michael Olowokandi
Dwayne Jones
Conditional 1st round pick

Can someone tell me why I should care about this trade? Honestly, I don't see this making either team particularly better. Wally & Davis are a wash and everyone else is either a role player or a non-factor.

Maybe these two teams felt they needed a shake up. Other than that, I can't quite figure how this makes Minnesota or Boston better.

If Davis tones down the fact that he's insane, he could help Minnesota. Other than that, my only thought is that this hurts Minnesota's cap space for a while (Blount's contract is AWFUL).
