O.K., now that the unfortunate events have passed who do I cheer for in the XL bowl? I like all of Seattle's players but I can't help but root for the Bus, and guys like Hines Ward and even Big Ben. Who are you cheering for in the Superbowl?

Since I have literally no rooting interest at all, I'm gunna go Seattle because they're the underdogs. Personally I think the Steelers are going to kick the **** out of them, but I'm still pulling for the underdog.

Pittsburgh. The Seahawk bandwagon is truly disgusting. There will be lots of broken ankles up here when everyone jumps off after the game. I hope the Steelers drill 'em!

Steelers without a doubt, always root for the AFC teams, except when the Raiders or Chiefs reach a Superbowl, was I even born then

Steelers have won too many times in the past, and we don't need to hear how they compare to the Jack Lambert, Lynn Swan, Bradshank, etc days. Let's just vote for the Seahawks b/c they've never been there. It's funny, I want the Seahawks to win but my money in the sports book is on the Steelers.

Cowher is like the bizarro-world Marty.
Smashmouth, but not conservative. Cowher plays against the offensive elite and shuts them down, instead of.....say.......having his defense vommit before running the punter on 4th and 3. While some teams lose free agents year in and year out and slowly sink down into teh suck Cowher just says "play the rookie" and somehow that ****er turns into defensive ROTY. If Cowher wins this game Dungy, Herm, and Marty will dial him up on conference call screaming "THANK YOU! YEAHHH! Because of you we'll have at least two or three teams who'll always believe in us!" |

I got lots of respect for Cowher, although the Steelers were known for sticking with guys for the duration...he's lasted there through some shaky years. He and Shanny are the longest tenured guys in the NFL, and unless one of them decides on their own to leave I don't see that changing any time soon.

I may not even watch the game. Always hates Pitt town, especially after spending this week with a bunch of them and I will never cheer for a team with a Hassleschmuck on the roster.

Same thing here, it's not that I'm bitter about Denver not being in it this year, it's really that I either dont like or dont give a **** about either team in this Super Bowl. I'll watch but won't have much interest, do some channel surfing here and there, but really not into this at all. |

I'll be rooting for Seattle. Haven't decided if I'm taking the 4 points, betting the money line or doing both.

I wouldn't mind seeing either team win. Seattle deserves it, but so does Bettis. It'll be a nice game to watch and (hopefully) a good one.

Seattle - old AFC foe, and can not stand Steelers fans now, with superbowl I might go to jail.

Im going for the Seahawks, just because my brother is a Steeler fan and has rubbed in his teams victory all frickin week. nothing would make me happier for me to see him feel the way I do now.
