Logan by far is the biggest weenie on the show. I wish someone would take a swipe at his ass.

This season is actually shaping up pretty well so far. Season 1 was, by far, the best. Then I'd go season 3, then season 4, then season 2. This one is already better than #4 & #2. What's everyone else thinking?

from wikipedia
10:00AM-11:00AM The terrorists use the threat of executing Derek to force Jack to convey false information to CTU so that terrorists will be able to ambush the assault team upon entry. Jack tries to covertly warn CTU during his call, but the warning is only caught thanks to an abrasive new CTU chief, Lynn McGill (who had arrived and put himself in charge). The assault is successfully re-coordinated, subduing the terrorists just as the treaty is signed, salvaging the political situation, but not before the terrorists hand off a key card to Ivan Erwich, a sleeper agent amongst the hostages. This key card was apparently held by Chevensky. Erwich escapes during the chaos and meets with more terrorists; the key card is used to break into a mysterious bunker containing biohazard canisters in one of the airport's storage areas. Martha Logan manages to track down an accurate written transcript of her fateful phone conversation with former President Palmer, but Walt Cummings assaults her from behind, knocks her unconscious with chloroform, and takes the transcript before she can show the transcript to her husband. [edit] 11:00AM-12:00PM The second group of terrorists are revealed to also be Central Asian nationalists and are planning to use the nerve gas canisters in an attack on Moscow, and proceed to move the canisters into a fake S.W.A.T van and exit the secure perimeter; Nathanson tells Walt Cummings that Jack is a problem and must be eliminated. Walt assures him that he has a man on the inside that will handle it. Meanwhile, using surveillance video, CTU is able to track Erwich (the sleeper agent with the yellow tie) to the abandoned warehouse and a forensics team determines that the area shows minute concentrations of military-grade nerve gas, evidence that it had once been stored there-- how the nerve gas got there is a mystery. Diane Huxley is brought into CTU for debriefing, along with her son Derek; Audrey, Jack's former lover, questions her and Diane reveals there was no romantic involvement between herself and Jack, not that she would have minded. Martha Logan, meanwhile, escapes through her bathroom window upon realizing that without the evidence to back up her 'delusional' phone call from Palmer the President has been convinced to commit her to an asylum. Chloe at CTU notices Spencer Wolff accessing unauthorized files beyond his security clearance and reports him to Buchanan. When Spencer is questioned and shown that the technician he let into CTU on orders from Cummings was in fact a professional assassin who attacked Jack and killed a CTU physician, he reveals that he believed he was part of an internal affairs investigation into CTU under the authority of the White House -- placed there by Walt Cummings. Wolff's admission is compelling, but leaves CTU without clear evidence of Cummings' culpability. Jack, however, decides to go after him. jack finished the guy by putting some scissors in his neck. |

I agree that 4 was the best and then I'd say 1. This year is pretty intense and should surpass them all.

You guys really enjoyed 4? I just couldn't get into it. It seemed too forced in my opinion.

Does Jack have a threesome in his future with his current and former girlfriends? I can actually do w/o the love interest crap, except for the threesome scenario. |

I was totally hooked this year the second Palmer took one between the eyes. I hate waiting a week to get to the next show. |

This is the first time that I've watched a season as it airs. The previous four I watched on DVD in the fetal position for an entire weekend. I think I prefer this method more. I can handle one week in between episodes. Hell, with "The West Wing" I'm usually looking at 3-4 weeks in between episodes. 1 week is a breeze.

Less than 2 hours to THE SHOW. Our boy Jack/Kiefer won a best actor in Screen Actors guild awards last night. Why wasn't the actress who played Chloe nominated for best actress ?
