I have been harassing PM in another thread, but I really don't believe this loss is on him. That team had so much rust it would have taken two games to get them back to playing form. I thought it was a totally idiotic strategy to not give meaningful playing time to the stars for a month. I actually picked Pitt to win by 4, and it was based on the rust factor, not the team differential. It is amazing that people who are aware of the importance of timing, athletic performance, and been able to feel in the zone, would actually assume that they can compensate for lack of playing by practicing at "speed".
