So since Kubes is practically bound for Houston...and Mangini being hired today by the Jets...do you think that Heimerdinger becomes the OC to replace Kubes, or does he stay with the Jets?

Thoughts?

I think Shanny stays in house and promotes Bobby Turner to OC, maybe opening the door for TD to come in as RB Coach? Im probably dreaming on that second one...

Thats actually an idea i've never thought of...I'd love to see TD become a coach...I wonder if Shanahan has?

What's his contract look like for NFL Network? I love the idea, he was a great RB who could pass-block. He'd still be playing if he hadn't attempted that tackle on the interception.

TD is never going to be a coach. You are seeing TD in the profession that he's going to retire in.

A good coach could be plucked from the USC roster. They have some young, intelligent coaches who could step in and do the job ... of course, it'll likely be someone that comes out of nowhere.

I think it will be Dennison with Turner being given a boost in pay and title. Hermingdinger is a possbility, or maybe a surprise like Dorrell?

I think Heimerdinger will be the OC. I just hope Turner is happy where he is at. Otherwise I would rather have him at OC....

I won't even bother to speculate. People talk about a distration to Kubiak...that isn't the problem at all...the distraction is to Shanahan. I'm sure he has an idea.

Luckily, we have an org. that people will die for to get that spot, so whoever we choose, it will be a choice, not a need filled. I wouldn't even bother worrying about it right now. It could be inside or outside the org.

Shanny won't have to scrape the bottom of the barrel tho. I think Fassel would be a good choice for at least the short term. If we are in danger of losing Bobby Turner, I boot him up, but he's not really a coordinator. Fassel is. Moochie is.

Sirius NFL Radio was saying tonight that Heimerdinger is the odds on favorite for the OC job. But then again they were saying earlier in the season that the Dolts were the odds on favorite to win the SB.
