Well, I certainly haven't heard about him honoring his statement that he would walk from Bristol to Washington naked if the Skins made the playoffs.
Not that I'm surprised that POS fatass is trying to jump on our bandwagon and shirk the fact he ever made the statement. Sorry dumpy, it's too late...someone stick him with a pickfork and kick him off the bandwagon. Lying Cretin. Don't make promises you can't keep dimwit. I didn't hear him say that. I did here him say that he would walk from Bristol to Washington naked if the Redskins made the playoffs. He also said that we'd be lucky to win six games this year.

I stand corrected. I was trying to remember. Doesn't really matter, he's obviously welched on it. Fixed it. Nice catch.

Go back and find the tape from the Stephen A. Smith show.
He said he would walk if the Skins made the Super Bowl, not the playoffs alone. |

Well it's a little foggy what the thread said. Then why was there a campaign to e-mail him?

Because it was thought he said he'd walk if they made the playoffs, but it was actually if they made the Super Bowl. When Sean was reminded of saying something to the tune, he went back on with Stephen A. and reviewed the tape.
As it is now - he's off scot-free. |

Well that's fine...the posers finally lost. It would of been cool to get a high pick but lets roll with our good fortune for now. We can still get quality at 22 if we do our homework. You got to take your hat off to Joe Gibbs tho. I thought the game had passes him by, when in reality he just needed a year to get his house in order.
Having Sonic(Clinton) didn't hurt, but I missed that call. I never thought they would roll off 6 straight to hit the playoffs. Last edited by watermock; 01-17-2006 at 07:01 AM.. |

Here is a link I found. http://www.bangcartoon.com/salisbury.htm
From our friends at BANG On or about September 7th 2005 on the program known as “Quite Frankly with Stephen A. Smith”, airing on the ESPN2 television network, a prediction and subsequent promise regarding the upcoming NFL season was made by ESPN analyst Sean Salisbury. “If the Washington Redskins even make the playoffs, I will walk from Bristol to Washington in January” UPDATE! Sean, or someone claiming to be Sean has written from ESPN radio. He said he has since been on Smith's show and has been confronted with the tape, and he claims he said the Redskins must make the Super Bowl for him to walk. Since he took the time to address our concerns, we feel he has received enough email from us. Unless the Redskins should win the Super Bowl. Last edited by Atlas; 01-17-2006 at 07:12 AM.. |

Sean is in studio with us here in Dallas each Friday afternoon. I let him know about bang's page dedicated to him. He wanted to clarify the bet, so we emailed the guy that runs the site for him. At the time, he again promised that if the Skins make the Super Bowl that he would walk and make it some big charity event.
