You know when Peyton said that yesterday only one thing came to mind. I know its only a movie but remember in Any Given Sunday when Beamer became really arrogant and pissed off his O-line? then ended up letting the opponent sack and beat the hell out of him. If i were his O-line i would take one game next year and just let the Defense have their way with him. Talk about teaching some humility.

Yeah, the popular rumor down here in Houston about carr is that the Texans trade down despite the national media hype, take Vince Young, ship Carr to Miami for Ricky Williams and their first round pick (good trade IMO for Miami, they unload Ricky and get a solid QB in Carr) and have him and DD cheap as hell with a solid Vince Young and spend all your draft picks left and all your FA money on O-linemen and D-linemen.

As for Payton...who cares about the Colts, they are done.

Why would Miami want to unload Ricky? They're paying him like $500,000 a year. Besides, supposedly the whole reason Bush is entering the draft is because the Texans told him they would draft him at #1.

The Texans denied that rumor today.

Of course they would, they need the leverage in case they want to trade the pick.

and teams now have to think that if they want Bush, they have to move to #1 instead of the Saints at #2

If Kubiak goes there, I think he would be hesitant to try and develop a QB in his first HC stint.

Kubiak more than likely won't have control over who they draft.

Maybe not, but keeping Carr wouldn't be a hard sell, especially if Reeves would like to see the same thing... Just too much $$$ would be tied up in QB's. It would make more sense for them to do a draft day trade to get D'Brickshaw & a 2nd/3rd rounder in exchange for the best player on the board...™
