Ah-Ski..... but it must be said with passion! ![]() Not sure I deserve all the thanks, in a way OSKIE has allowed me to be a more productive member at the Mane, which has been a lot of fun for me. I never thought it would be so powerful but man, there really is something special about OSKIE and Newbie predictions. Throw some pictures of Champ up on the Boon threads and it's as good as money! Career year for my boy! I'm glad BP mentioned this thread b/c I didn't even see it. Thanks to all of you for participating and making the Mane even more fun for me. OSKIE SCORE BABY!!! |

Oskie is real. Very very real. FIVE. No one takes that ball away from the Patriots five times....without Oskie mojo, that is.

Sorry brah, the power of OSKIE was directly responsible for Champs INT..... yeah right. Did you guys hear what Champ and Tom Brady both said about that play. The Pats had us figured out. They were marching and Champ and DWill pulled a switch to avoid getting picked. A little bit of pressure and Brady expected it to be open... Pick-5! So damn close to a pick 6 he gets 5!!! I know we all have some crazy superstitions. My daughters have a little play house in the back yard. I've got two footballs that I kick around and throw around in the back yard. Before the games I go out and say (outloud mind you, my wife and kids think I'm crazy!) if this is a perfect spiral the Broncos will win. If it's a wobbly spiral then it's a close win. Well, I nailed them both. One for about 60 yards and one for about 25 yards... almost straight up, but perfect spirals. I don't usually kick the ball 60 yards so that threw out the first ball. But I took the 2nd ball and put it right in the playhouse from about 30 yards out. I did throw the 60 yard one but was off to the right by atleast 15 feet... had the distance though! That brings me to another thought. I've had some pretty decent punts in my day. I've kicked a couple that just shot off my foot and looked like they'd never stop. Atleast 70 yard punts! I think to myself, man, NFL Punters don't kick that far! Then it dawns on me they don't get that 15 yards they line up behind the snapper added on to the punt... and most of the time the PR man will catch the punt so my 5-10 yard bounce and roll doesn't count either... So I end up with a pedestrian 45 yard punt. Sorry for getting off topic. Seriously though, thanks for playing a part in my Oskie Karma world. |

Same here! I was so stoked for this game. Earlier in the week a buddy of mine (Pats fan) came up to me and said "I want a hat!" He's a Pats fan and I did something that I never do when we played the Pats the first time... I bet on the Broncos. A hat. We won and he bought me a nice hat (which he had to wear at work for a week first!) I didn't make him wear it the whole week though, it's white and I was afraid he'd get it dirty! lol
So anyhow, he comes up to me Tuesday and says he wants a hat... thinking the Pats are guaranteed to win. I said okay and shook and immediatley said "hold on, I'm not betting again... the bet is off!" I went on to say that I could handle losing a bet in a regular season game but not in the playoffs on my team. So I said that if the Pats win I'd buy him a hat but it's not a bet... and if the Broncos win he would owe me a Lanyard (for my badges, thumb drives, and token) and a key chain. So I guess I'm getting a new Broncos Lanyard and key chain in our bet that really wasn't a bet! What do you guys think of making Oskie Karma 'dolls'? |

I'm asking about the Oskie Karma 'dolls' (not really a doll per say). I'm asking b/c a friend from the Mane asked or suggested it a while back. I imagine that 99 out of 100 people at the game have no idea about Oskie Karma, perhaps we can change that?
