Default I've been lurking but I finally decided to register

All this talk about the Pats having an easy go of it this weekend is seriously making me chuckle to myself.

For one thing, the Broncos have a 10-2 all time playoff record at home. In other words, it is almost impossible to beat the Broncos at Mile High in the playoffs. On top of that, they are 8-0 this season at home. The way many of the pundits are talking, you'd think that the game is in NE for chrissakes!

The Broncos have won 8 of their last 9 games. The BRONCOS, not the Pats, are the hottest team in the AFC.

The Broncos played the 2nd toughest schedule in the AFC this year, finishing 7-3 vs. winning teams. The Pats have fed mostly on cupcakes to climb back into the playoffs.

The Broncos are 13-3 playing in the toughest division in football. The MIGHTY Patriots are 10-6 and played in the weak AFC East.

The Broncos are ahead of the Pats in almost every major statistical category. Points for, Points against, total offense, total defense.

Bill Belicek is God's gift to coaching right now, but Mike Shanahan is one of the most brilliant offensive minds in the game. Shanny doesn't get any credit most when the "prognositicators" compare them, but he's the winningest coach over the last decade, and, oh yeah, he's won a couple of SB's in his time as well. He's no weak sister to Belichek.

Yeah, this should be a cakewalk for NE- LMAO. IMO, Mile High will be absolutely crazy, the players will jump ALL OVER the Pats and expose them by 17+ points. They are going to walk into a buzzsaw similar to the one the Chumps walked into earlier this year. I just don't think the Pats have the horses to hang with the Broncos in Denver. If the Pats win it will be the 2nd biggest upset in Broncos playoff history, just behind the 96 game with the Jags.

Damn good first post. Wish you were actually SEWELL, I use to work with the guy's mother for a while. She could have been pulling my leg a little but her ID looked legit.

I haven't seen one person on ESPN pick the Broncos and if you look at the poll on ESPN.com you'll notice that bout 60% of the country (over 150,000 votes) seem to think that the Pats will win.

Vegas automatically gives a home team 3 points so basically what they are saying is that the teams are equals. That simply is not the case in my opinion.

Welcome! The funniest thing I've noticed is how The Patriots still feel they are being disrespected. I had today off and so had an opportunity to watch all the news sources and get the general media's opinion. My favorite part about everything is everyone in the media is picking the Patriots and already explaining why they will win like it is inevitable. They haven't even named a single Denver player, or said anyhting about how our team has done. You can tell that they really don't care who WE are because THEY are the Patriot. It's like the only reason they even say the words "Denver Broncos" is because they have to mention where the game is played.

The Pats fans that post here are furious we even think we have a chance. Many get upset when you even suggest they won't three-peat. Most think our team is so dead that they only come here to chuckle to themselves about what ants we are and how crappy our team is going to be out there. They have tons of stats on much better they have been and could not tell you a single thing about our team or how it plays. It's borderline Giants fan blinders.

Pretty much every media outlet has overlooked the Broncos, not to mention the influx of trolls on this board who think we are a turnstyle to their fourth Lombardi

I have seen people who think the Patriots will win...

Show me who has said the Pats will have "an easy go" of it.

There are people who pick the pats...

There are people who pick the Broncos...

There are more people who pick the Pats than the Broncos...

The myth that everyone but Bronco fans are going around tlaking about this like the Patriots don't have to show up to win is a total myth and a straw man argument thrown around by Bronco fans...

I thought nobody thought the Broncos could even play on the same field as the Patriots?

I just browsed for 5 seconds and found one of the largest sprots websites around saying you were going to win by giving you the edge and another one having a whole page talking about how the Patriots are not quite up the task...

With all the victim cards around here I thought it would be much much harder...
