Bonehead Playoff Predictions - The Orange Mane

There has been much discussion about who is going to win what and why, and the answers invariably revolve around some stat; i.e. Denver did such and such this season, Denver owns NE, NE is 10-0 in the playoffs, Tom never loses in the cold, Cowher is due to lose again in the playoffs, Payaton is due for another choke job.

This time I would just like to see predictions based ONLY on gut feel. Many are bound to be wrong, but can be interesting nonetheless.

Here are my bonehead predictions:

1. Denver by 10+
2. Pitt by 4+
3. Seahawks by 7+
4. Carolina by 4+

Obviously some very boneheaded claims, and I would change them in a NY minute if I bothered to analyze them, but there you go. NEders, I am sure you have some interesting thoughts on each game, lets see them.

Pats have Tedy Bruschi. Game is moot, Bruschi -1,456,984,233. It's only close because Tedy Bruschi takes the second half off to cruise chicks.

I've already said we lose by 4999 to the Pats.

I like Seattle over Washington. By a lot. Say 31-14 or so.

I think the Bears will squeek past the Panthers, stone age style, 9-7.

I give Pittsburgh absolutely no shot at Indianapolis. 35-10.

I don't really like them, but I can't argue with them.

I'd love the Steelers to take out Indy, but I just can't see it.

As I said, bonehead picks. I just feel very uncomfortable about Indy not really playing for the past 6 weeks. My gutt tells me Pitt will make life interesting for Payaton, but don't ask me to justify it.

Edit: I am surprised by the lack of participation of the Pat trolls. Come on guys, only one of you guys has said anything. Does having to pick the Indy game instill fear in your minds?

Great calls. Only missed the Pitt game (21-18) by 1 point. All the others came out plus.
