Default Kind words from Belichik's press conference

Bill on Broncos
Patriots coach Bill Belichick opened his Tuesday press conference (10:45 a.m. ET) with some comments on the team’s opponent on Saturday night, the Denver Broncos.

“Well, when you get to this point in the season, you kind of think of what a team needs to do to be in the position that Denver is in. It’s pretty easy to see why. They really do everything well. They run the ball. They stop the run. They score early. Real good in the kicking game. Turnovers (36), second in franchise history, or whatever it is. Time of possession (32:37) -- leading the league. Field position -- second in the league behind Jacksonville.

“They do so many things well in all three phases of the game. They’re extremely well coached. They’re tough. They have a very good scheme, real good players. Play great at home (8-0); they haven’t really been challenged at home for quite a while. We’re going to have to play our best game Saturday against them. We certainly didn’t come anywhere close to approaching that the last time we went out there. So we’re going to have to do a lot better than that to make it competitive. That’s what we’re working on this week, to see if we can improve, starting with coaching and playing with Denver. Hopefully we can put on a more competitive game, and a competitive effort than we had out there the last time

Wow so negative...What are you guys so worried about all the insults and patriot bashing, you will not see too much of that on the Patriot's board.
You guys are favored your the better team you will probably win.The Patriots after the way they looked back on week 6 to have made it this far is amazing anythin beyond this point is frosting on the cake.We are playing with house money no one expects us to go to Denver and beat the 13-3 Broncos but reading this board sounds like alot of you are nervous...Relax your gonna win...

Nah, it's just there's been a minor infusion of bahstan "fans" who don't recall Grogan or Haynes. Billachick's press conferences are as boring as shanny's, and he lies just as much (though the league doesnt seem to punish him on his injury lies like it did to shanny). And, there's an occaionianl dry wit.

Relax its Tuesday its all in fun. Now Friday on the other hand things could get tense and mudslinging is quite likely in the forecast. Not from me of course because Im fully confident in a Bronco victory.

I can't speak for them....but I pulled this little gem about myself up from last October....

Yeah, I'm new to football. Just started following it the week after the Pats beat the Rams. Then took a year off and then right before SB 38 I decided to root for the Pats again and then I took 51 weeks off and picked it up again right before SB 39 but I was an Eagles fan then....but this year I'm gonna try to stick with the Pats for the whole time.....but I really like the Colts so I'm a little torn.......but not as torn as the ligaments of the defensive line players who's careers have been destroyed by chopblocking......while a defender is engaged with another blocker.

So who is the Grogan Haynes dude? Was he any good? And what kind of first name is Grogan?

Probably a good idea to put that "little gem" back in the garbage where it belongs.

See what I mean Hotrod is confident so no need to say things like Jake is better than Brady saying things like that makes you sound desperate. If you were a owner and were to start a NFL franchise and you had a choice betwen Brady and Plummer c'mon be real who would you take.I being an objective fan agree the Broncos are a better team throughout the season have played more consistent football than the patriots. The Patriots suffered major injuries but hey that's part of the game. The Pat's are playing much better now than they were in week 6, some of you may dispute that but those are the facts.

Remember it's not always the best team that wins but the team playing the best during the playoffs....
