Hey, after winning 3 of 4, the Pats need to conjure up SOME kind of motivation. Just another case of the man keeping them down.

He was talking about how everyone had written them off midseason and no one really expects them to do anything even now after a 6-2 run. Its all the Colts all the time in the AFC and thats it. No one else has a chance. In the NFC its all Seahags all the time. Seriously, Brady is right. The media has disrespected every team in the playoffs except the two above mentioned teams. |

He's trying to fire his team up with the ol' "us against the world" mantra. Not uncommon or unexpected.

One of two things going on here.
Either Brady's trying to get his team motivated by giving them a chip on their shoulder to play off of . . . . . or . . . . . Salsbury steak was stuck in traffic on his way to his daily Brady Ball Suck and subsequent spooge fest/circle jerk and Brady isn't feeling the love. ![]() "Salisbury Steak Smothered in Brady Gravy....it's my favorite." for every 1 "tom brady isn't that good" comments there are 4,350 "tom brady is so underrated" mentions.
for every 1 "new england sucks this year" there are 4,350 "i'm telling ya, watch out for the patriots, they're being overlooked" honestly, who are the people that aren't 'giving us warning' about ne? |

As a society, people love to build someone up only to tear them down at a later date. That's what is happening right now with the Patriots. They are still the World Champs and are capable of doing damage. I'm glad that if we play them, it will be in Denver...

Tom Terrific doesn't need to stoke his own ego. I think they are weaker, but never discount that guy, he's Montana reincarnate. We have matched up pretty weill with NE even during their run. We need to get to Indy and solve THAT rubics cube. Tom Terrific is pretty humble and hard to dislike. I'm allways amused with grumpy Billichick as well.
Brady and the Pats are damn hard to hate. Doesn't help PatsWin02 is so freakin' polite. I guess it's easy to be gracious with 3 Lombardies and a WS trophy from the Sox... Spoiled Brat! ![]() Last edited by watermock; 01-04-2006 at 01:35 PM.. |

This has been thrown about here for a few days ...in fact, several media folks called it before the Patriots mentioned it.
It's a riot. And we all know it. The thing is that this team has used the "disrespect card" many times over the last few years. And they still do it.....because it allows them to draw from it....even if they fabricate something in their own heads about being disrespected. Now it's more of a running joke. Maybe it was after the Philly SB game last year Rodney Harrison or some player said, "We did it - nobody thought we could do it, but we did it!" Of course, most people thought they would do it. ![]() |

Talk about disrespect Broncos go 13-3 & no sports talking head thinks they can or will win a playoff game.

meanwhile, Denver, on a 13-2 run, remains blissfully below radar.

such a sad and weak attempt. I hate this "disrespect" crap. they are expected to win their playoff game and probably will get the best odds vs indy over any other team. what do they want? to be superbowl favorites?

thats new england for you.they have been screaming they get no respect ever since they made the first superbowl.sounds like brady knows his superbowl is about to come to an end.except for the colts and chargers the pats have been sucked up too since season started.i would give them respect if they could beat a winning team besides a florida team up in the cold.

Vegas certainly isn't disrespecting the Pats. They have to win one more game than the Broncos and would have to travel to Denver in the second round, where they already lost this year.....and they STILL are getting the same odds to win SB XL as the Broncos.

It's not unlike what Michael Jordan would always do. He'd always find something to feel disrespected about to help him stay challenged and focused. After you've won 3 titles it's probably harder to find something without it appearing to be a reach.

It's been a Brady & NE suckfest for the past 6 weeks, even more so since the Colts lost. I'm so sick & tired of hearing about the damn patriots. Go Jags!
