Default Camby out with broken finger

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2273612

He's got a legit injury this time around, I take back what I said about him in the other thread.

Kenyon is still a candy ass until he proves otherwise.

Oh, I almost forgot to add that the Nuggets are now officially ****ed.

"Kenyon Martin has missed 10 games with a bad knee"

That's pretty much the long and short of it.

Ahem. Kleiza!

Anyways, I remember going to see the Nugs play the Sonics in Melo's rookie season when he dropped the (at the time) career high 41 points.

We're gunna need another 40+ performance from him to be in this game tonight. KMart needs to play.

Sweet, KMart might be hurt again.

He's stayed in the game, but from the look of how he landed after that dunk, I'm sure that's good for 5 games or so on the bench.

Doesn't it just warm your heart that it seems like every time they show Kenyon planted on the bench he's smiling and laughing?

I guess I'd smile and laugh too if I got paid that much to do that little.

9th game we've lost after leading in the fourth. If this wasn't so hilarious, I'd be crying or something. Good God.

They fell apart in the 4th quarter.....I should just cut and paste that line 2 out of every 3 games.

I don't know what to say.

Thinking about this team, it's not that they suck... OK their free throw shooting sucks, but it just seems that if it's not one thing, it's another every night. Camby's out, or KMart's out, we've got Nene out for the year, etc etc.

I almost wish we just sucked and got blown out... Almost. The problem is, when you're starting Francisco Elson or Eddie Najera, you're going to be inferior. And I'm not trying to talk **** about either of them, because Elson has been good, and Najera has been an animal all over the place, but they're not starters in the NBA...

It's like, we've got a group of guys that you want to root for. Andre is there every night, Eddie is gunna give you blood, Carmelo is putting the team on his back at 21, Buckner is willing to clamp down and play D, Camby wants to be in there, he just has some ****ty luck I think... Hell, as much as I'm frustrated with KMart, I still think he genuinely wants to play.. I mean, he always has fun out there, and I still remember last season's home opener when he almost got into a fight with Sam Cassell because he thought Cassell took a cheap shot at Boykins... The heart is there...

The problem is, and what makes it all so frustrating, is that in almost every loss, a win has been close and there for the taking. Part of me wants to say we suck, but the other part of me wants to say look, the guys we're putting on the floor are giving 100%, and you can't ask for more then that..

The only good news is, last season we sucked up until the All-Star Break, so the season ain't over.

One simple solution, pack K-Mart off to wherever and start again.
