I thought 10-6, but adjusted to 11-5 early when we started well about a third of the way thru.
We are not a mile away from 11-5 actually, Anyway, a bye and some rest for some players that seemed to be taking cheap hits should help...I don't care if we are 12-4. Anyway, I think the prevailing idea was from 9-7 to 10-6, or 11-5. we have a bye wrapped up and the way the Raiders were trying to injure us yesterday, I'm just furious.... I saw 6 seperate cheap shots on Bronco players...all across the board...Jake took two, Wilson one, Champ one, it was all over the field...there was a cheap shot on MA...and a cheap shot on Lelie... And those are the one's I saw... There was other crap all over the field but it wasn't important, and why would it be called? It was odd how they wouldn't call them honestly... What crew was that? |

Can we post a link to the prediction thread? I think I picked 12-4 but I don't remember for sure and I'm too lazy to look for the thread.

I picked 11-5 because of the schedule. I thought we were far better than last yr. I am pretty sure Atlas did a thread on this in the pre-season. BTW, picks only count if made at pre-season, it is always easier to predict once you have gotten a view of the finished product.

I predicted a 13-3 Super Bowl win but I have to say I thought we had improved and indy had stayed the same well now it will depend on darren willams for us to stand a chance against indy or for that matter the first game we will play in the play offs. IMO there are 4 teams that are for real in the AFC for a chance at the SB...we are one of them

12-4, winning the west witha home playoff game. I did not predict the 2 seed, but I did call for undefeated at home.

I predicted 11-5. But I distinctly remember over half of this board thinking 10-6 or worse

I know for a fact I picked 8-8, give or take a win/loss depending on some luck, how the ball bounced, etc... Thought we could hit 10 wins maybe.
I was down on the team, plus at the beginning, philly and new england were powers, and the baltimore game was scary.. |

I predicted 13-3.
Many predicted we would finish .500 and not make the playoffs or max the last wild card. But, it pays off when you play tough opponents at Mile High. |

i thought 11-5. i looked at the schedule and said that if they could take both games against NE and PHI, they'd go 12-4. i didn't expect that, but thought it possible. i didn't expect losses to the NYG and MIA teams though. i figured DEN would split with KC, SD, and OAK. i also thought they'd lose to either NE or PHI. finally, i expected someone in the DAL/BAL/BUF group to beat the Broncos. all this was before the season of course, when the media was hyping some of those teams to be better than they turned out to be.
however, i looked at this team in preseason and knew it was much improved over the previous 2 years (where they went 10-6), so i was pretty confident of at least an 11-5 finish, which would have been good enough for a playoff spot. i didn't expect to get a bye and the #2 seed though, so this team has exceeded my expectations. good job Broncos! ![]() |

I predicted 9-7 mainly because of the schedule we had this year. But the Broncos have far exceeded my expectations on the defensive side of the ball.

I said 12-4 was right there to grab, provided they went 7-1 minimum at home. It looked like 5-3 on the road might be the best they could do way back then. I tell ya what, the Broncs picked a good year to go 12-4 or 13-3. I believe last year Indy was the 3rd seed at 13-3. Pitt was 15-1, NE 14-2, I think.

I predicted 6-10.
I REALLY thought the offensive line was overmatched.. what I DIDN'T count on was how incredible Shanny is at game planning around holes in the offense. |

I looked at a schedule and scratched 12-4 and downcasted it. I thought I was being too much of a homer.
Making predicitons from over here is very risky business. You have no contact with "normal life" so some of my pics are going to be way off. |

I'll admit it. 8-8 and a "just missed the playoffs" scenario. Obviously Jake played better and the "Brownco" defense far exceeded my expectations.

9-7, 10-6 at best. How so many of you claim you picked 12-4 is beyond me.
