Default I take it back...

All the nasty things I've said about Shanny the last couple years on the mane & Broncomoronia, I take 'em all back. Now Mr. Shanahan, take us to the promise land.

How timely of you, too!

Beg for forgiveness if you like, it won't matter in the end. Much like Santa, this office makes a list and checks it twice.

Its not about taking us to the promise land. Its about taking it one game at a time. Trust me as a fan it will make it a lot better to enjoy the good times and ride out the bad times.

Well I was wrong. I thought we would be 10-6 at this point. We played better than I thought, and even caught some very good teams (Patriots) at points when they were injured. Everything worked out for us and now we have the best Christmas ever.

I have been very critical of Shanahan over the last couple of seasons. I didn't think he had what it took to get us back to where we were 7 years ago, but he has proven me wrong and I couldn't be happier.

Lest everyone get all sappy and teary eyed, I remind you that there are several steps yet to be taken in this prolonged season. Don't get me wrong; I am ecstatic that the Broncos are where they are. But as even the players will tell you, this is one shrine on the way to the grail. Let us be thankful, but not yet satisfied.

I want them to smack the next three teams bad, and then we can call out the NFC.

I personally enjoy the heck out of 1999. We swept the Raiders, were in every game, and the team had fight in them. 2000-1 sucked from post season to off season. I don't care about the numbers. It wasn't fun. I liked 2003. It was fun. I liked 2004. Yeah baby. Keep the heat on. 2005 has been a blast watching piles of crow being served.

I don't like predicting the seasons for the Broncos. I've never picked one right and I'm not going to start now.

I'm enjoying this one game at a time.
