Sell. Cincy has one tough game left @KC, and I don't like @SD or a primetime game in Buffalo.

I'll buy. San Diego is overrated and we should beat BUF.

(We could very well lose to the Chargers, but they are no where as good as they hype the media has given them all year)

they pretty much beat us in denver in week 2. were it not for a herculean(rockafellian?) effort by our d in the 2nd half, that game was theirs.

5 losses by a combined 15 pts. That team is probably the greatest 8-5 or whatever team ever. just because the media hypes a team doesn't mean the team isn't worthy of it.

Great teams find a way to win the close games.

They are a good team but not that great, especially considering how bad the media butt kisses them

The Redskins have lost a lot of close games as well, but no one in the media is saying they are the greatest 7-6 team ever.

I think its a bunch of BS talk.

The Chargers are good, but come on, not GREAT.

They lost to the Dolphins at home in a must-win game.

2 missed FGs, 2 red-zone turnovers and a TD called back (Putz's not DWill's) pretty much show that Denver tried to beat themselves.

The media has been slurping on this team all year. They are 2 years removed from a 4 win season. You don't go from 4-12 to 12-4 in a year without some breaks. I think the Chargers are a decent team, I think they are in a league with the Chefs. That said, I have seen this team play in person (I was at the Skins game) and the Skins had them beat. They are overrated.

I think they are good enough to play with most teams in this league, and they could certainly beat the Broncos if they play well (or if we play poorly). But calling them the greatest 8-5 team or the best team not to make the playoffs is silly.

Buy.

Cincy's game in KC is almost assured as a loss. KC's home record in December should be enough to confirm this.

Denver has really only one tough game and thats against SD who just lost at home to Miami.

Denver lost to Miami true, but I think we can all rest assured that the team that showed up in Week 1 is not the team that is fighting for the #2 seed right now. We match up with with SD IMO and while its possible that we lose, it won't matter. We will beat Buff and Jokeland and Cincy will drop the game to KC so in the end, it may not matter if we win or lose against SD.

I wouldn't pencil in a KC win over Cincy. If Cincy starts out fast KC may not be able to keep up.

One thing to consider is the fact that San Diego will likely be out of playoff contention by the time we play them. I can't see them winning under those circumstances if the Broncos need the game.

it's odd how when a qb stops throwing ints he's lauded for doing a pro-bowl type job, and yet when teams don't make as many mistakes as their opponent they didn't win the game so much as the other team lost it.

SD beat themselves with that int to bailey. we were outplayed in that first-half, and thankfully that 2nd half dominance has translated into this wonderful season.

can you name me a better 8-5 team this year? any year?

i'm honestly having a hard time thinking of a non-playoff team in recent memory that was as potent as this year's chargers. it's not just hyperbole.

nice work, I stand corrected.

albeit they'd qualify for the playoffs under the new format. technically they were what, a wild card under new rules? or am i wrong about the advent of the expanded playoffs?

nonetheless, score 1 for milehigh shack.

also, what's this bengals rap video?

regarding the video

MORE PRIME TIME: Forget the Bears’ Super Bowl Shuffle of 1985. When Sanders arrived on the scene four years later, he single-handedly married MTV and the NFL, and 16 years later they’re living happily ever after.

The Bengals officially went Prime Time on Friday as Cincinnati’s own funk legend Bootsy Collins took over Paul Brown Stadium to shoot a music video for the stadium scoreboards with the help of the players who wrote much of the song, “Fear Da Tiger.” Scott Simpson, executive producer of Jungle Vision Productions, oversaw the shoot that makes its debut in the Nov. 20 game against the Colts.

Collins, wearing a Carson Palmer jersey, got help from Duane Clemons, Ben Wilkerson and Stacy Andrews during the video. Clemons, the team’s self appointed “Director of Entertainment," is a fan of Collins dating back to his James Brown days, and gets a fairly long cameo rap in the video.

After the debut against the Colts, Collins and the video are going to be the subject of a feature on ESPN Hollywood at a date and time to be announced.

I think the 49ers of 1991 barely missed out on a wildcard, the wildcard was in effect that year

I'd buy that I think.

I think we will lose to SD, but the bengals will lose to KC. I believe that means we would have the tiebreaker so we would get the #2 seed.

The Broncos missed the playoffs with an 11-5 record in 1985.

The Bolts aren't a bad team. They are a solid football club with some all-pro players.

They just aren't what some of the media pundits claim they are.
