wow I even don't think were that good on the road in buffalo. I sure hope we don't do what we did last year in cinci, when everyone was saying how bad their run defense was and they just stuffed us.

It would take "a letdown game of monstrous proportions" for you to lose to Buffalo.

They are far enough into this season of disarray they won't be able to get it together.

This is pretty funny.

Quote:
I can hear it right now....

...

Theisman: What a tackle by Denver's linebacker!

Mike Patrick: Oh man Joe he really put a licking on McGahee right there. The tackle kind of reminds me of something a line backer like Tedy Bruschi would perform.

Theisman: Tedy Bruschi! Now theres an elite player in this league. I mean it amazes me to this day to how the man can even play in the NFL let alone dominate like he is today.

Paul McGuire: Your sure right Joe. Tedy Bruschi, even though he is not playing in this game, make his presence felt in our hearts every time we see a hit like this Denver lineback just did.

Theisman: Absolutly. After watching that game vs Buffalo... (pause) the way Bruschi performed...wow... it just amazes me and inspires me to be the best i can be at what ever im doing.

McGuire: I know what you mean. Tedy Bruschi has that effect on people. I mean what he went through to get to the point where he is now. Unbelievable. He is without a doubt a role model to all people. Especially the children.

Patrick: You bring up a great point Pat. Bruschi is such a great role model for children everywhere.

(Jake Plummer is just intercepted by Troy Vincent)

Theisman: Actually thats funny you say this. I mean I've told my children stories of tedy's heroic performance in that game vs Buffalo and they were not only amazed, but I could tell, they were inspired.

Patrick: Want to make your kids more inspired just have them sit down and watch Bruschi play a game. That inspiring enough.

McGuire: Honestly guys, seeing Bruschi on the field, doing what he loves best, well it just brings a smile to my face. I hope many great things come for him in the future.

Theisman: What a guy he is. Hmm looks like a change in possession. We'll be back after the commercial break.

That thread was pretty funny. They too are less than enthralled with the ESPN treatment. It's interesting to see that it's ESPN's a**licking of Bruschi in particular that annoys them.

Joe T: What a great TD by Pummer..

Maguire: You dimwit, that was Van Pelt on another draw

Joe: We went to the moon

Maguire as his sips a scotch: Your on the moon you dimwit

Joe: Your kidding me right?

Maguire: No Joe, you are now going to die from lack of oxygen and/or a space suit

We used to have a Buffalo fan that came here around this time last year.

Can't remember his name right off hand, but it was a lot of talk of Buffalo getting into the playoffs last year in Denver's place and also about how Buffalo would do this and that once they got there.

He quit coming around about the time that Pittsburgh's backups beat Buffalo on the final week of last year.

Haven't seen him this year (must've forgot his password or realized his team sucks).

I thought so too and found very little that I didn't agree with; especially The Bruschi stuff. They can get our of control on that network.

I don't like Sterling Sharpe because he's an arrogant prick, so I'm not going to enjoy the commentary either.
