Tool of the year: None. None who qualify deserve recognition for anything.
Mod of the year: Garcia Bronco (or whoever banned Bob for a week)
Optimist of the year: orange 4 life
Pessimist of the year: bronco militia (though bloodsunday, yavoon and BroncoSoja all were close runners up but all three also fell into the Tool of the year category and decidedly do not deserve recognition)
Adopt-A-Bronco Defender of the year: ozomulsion for his die hard and consistent defense of our Oklahoma State Cowboy representatives.
Rival fan of the year: TheNextStep (and it will be hard for anyone to unseat him even if he is absent).
Non-Rival non-Bronco fan of the year: PatsWin2002 (duh)

optimist is a good thing.
its kinda funny since everyone who watches the games with me (my sis, dad, wife, and friends) calls me "the eternal pessimist".

every week my sis tells me "knock it off!! youre always so negative", and more than once my dad or wife has told me im no fun to watch games with because im always angry and negative.

that said, i always evaluate things AFTER the games, and i absolutely try to find the positive.
take yesterday for example.
before the game, i said we need to kick their teeth in and make a statement.
during the game im cursing and angry because our gameplan is so vanilla and we kept using one wide sets and didnt take advantage of what they were giving us (which was the pass).
after the game in hindsight i think barely winning could be a good thing, since we get the "w", but hopefully ALSO realize how close we came to blowing it.
should be some necessary motivation the next couple weeks.

anyway, just funny to me that there's such a differing opinion of me, but i like the "optimist" opinion better.
probably a good thing the mane wasnt around in '99 when i said we'd be lucky to win 5 games.

okay, thanks again guys, and i will try to remain the optimist, as long as thats realistic.
ive been pretty darn optimistic the last few years, but considering our records and standing this season, it looks like i had reason to be that way!!

want some more optimism?
indy is gonna get knocked off in their first game, the afc championship will be in denver, and we're going to the superbowl.
okay fine, im not sure if i fully believe that, but i think its entirely possible.
