I have to go against my instincts and back Booberoo up here...I saw that hold on Hicks the play before the fated holding call. Just a terrible, terrible no-call. Hicks blew past him and the Cowboy lineman just flat out mugged him from behind.

Now you know how it feels, Chef fans. Burns, doesn't it?

The game didn't end on that play. They had their chances and blew it.

But I'm sure that won't stop Bob from going Sally Struthers on us about it.

I think everybody in the world saw that call. It was a flat out tackle. Funny thing is... they're crying like a bunch of little biatches. Sad thing is, if that penalty gets called... like it should have they win. Too bad, so sad!

happens to us every week.

Also, with the QB touching rules so ticky tacky, the refs usually have their eyes on him and not on the play.

Dude, it would have made it 4th and goal from the 20 yard line or so... No, it's not game over, but there's a big difference there!!!

So? They could have stopped them from scoring the winning TD. Or Lin Tynes could have made his field goal to send it to OT. Any way you slice it, the game did not end on any call or non-call.

Chef fans so love calling Bronco fans whiners, but as soon as a call doesn't go their way they immediatly start screaming about how the league hates them or that the officials screwed them.

I'll just give them the same that they gave us after the two blatant blocks in the back on Dainty Hall's punt return two years ago. Get over it, stop whining, sore losers, quit crying, etc.

That's actually a more legitimate excuse than the type of excuses (and whining) that im seeing on ChiefsPlanet right now.

I know exactly what you're saying... guess it makes you feel good to act like Chef fan? I'm merely pointing out that the No-call cost them dearly. That close to the end of the game and that obvious... plain and simple, it was more obvious than the holding call on Johnson. IMO, both of them should have been called. BTW, lets not confuse my comments with the fact that I'm happier than shiat that they lost... don't care how, just care that they did!!!

Third and goal from the fourteen if they accepted the penalty. I would have declined it and not given them two chances. Still does not mean that Johnson did not HOLD Witten on the next play. That would have been an automatic FD as well.

Did you see the one about the Bengals were going to come in and let the Queefs win b/c Cincy would rather play KC than Pitt in the playoffs?

How 'bout the one about them running the table now and controlling their own destiny... or the one about having a tougher schedule than SD... the list goes on and on! It's like reading a joke book!

I think it would have been further than that as the penalty happened at about the 12 (Bledsoe was rolling right). You're right though, it would have been 3rd down and they would have 2 chances. B/c it's more difficult defensing from the 5 as opposed to the 20 they may well have refused the penalty. But you obviously saw the same thing and know damn well that it was indeed a penalty!

He did hold him, hell he spun him around.

With the referees calling any and everything against defenses these days (especially in passing situations) they should have expected it. Offenses get away with murder.

A prime example was today against Baltimore. Champ was headed straight for the ball and an INT when a Ratbird receiver just put two hands on him and shoved him out of the way of the ball. Now if a DB does that to a WR, you'll see a flag hit the ground before you can blink.

I saw the last part of the Broncos game and was too worked up to study for awhile. Saw the ending of the Dallas/KC game because of that. Definitely a hold on Pettiti and definitely a Hold by Johnson on Witten.

I was agreeing that Johnson HELD Witten. Sorry that was not more clear.

I agree that both were holds. Both should have been called, but only one was called. Like I said earlier though, I'm not complaining... I'll sleep better tonight knowing that the Chefs got screwed, even if it was only a minor screwing. I think we should all open our arms to Chef fan tomorrow and tell them how they got screwed and the no-call was BS... then laugh at them crying about the no-call and ask them "How you like them apples!!!"

No excuses. We had opportunities and blew it.

For me the game turned on two plays.

Trent Green's fumble.

And Surtains dropped interception.

If we win those two plays, we probably get 10 points and they probably lose 7.

Thank god the Jags and SD lost. We need to beat the Giants now.

i think the Gnats will win, at least i hope so. They have a lot of weapons and are a tough team to attack. May be a shootout.

Chiefs had their chances, but dropped the ball, now we need them to do it one more time and the division will be ours!

That was the same play Champ Read and took to the house BTW. Surtain cost you 14 points with that Drop.
