they dont scare me either, but the situation does.

its in their house, its on a saturday night, and we'll be coming off three games against weak opponents.

the chargers arent a great team by any means, but theyre no one to take lightly either.
we'll have to see how it all shakes out (because its possible the game wont mean anything, though thats doubtful since cinci's schedule is easy too), but if there's alot on the line, thats a game we should win.

like we did against the giants, we need to learn from last weeks loss.
use it as motivation.
our goal is the superbowl, and that said, if we're going to have any prayer of going to indy and winning we better be able to go to san diego and get a win.
we shouldve won there last year, and we should be able to win this year too.
keep LT quiet and make brees beat us.
unlike plummer, brees is NOT a playmaker, which bodes well for us.

yeah i just looked at who they beat and the only impressive win i see is ny giants but that was like week 3,very early and in sd.other than that, theyve beaten nobody, home loss to dallas, loss to the lowly eagles, loss to pitt and of course that loss in denver where they only looked good first half cause denver was slow starter.we kicked lts butt then, well stop him again.

Plus Sass & I are in the house that game. Denver is undefeated in games we attend together.....so throw that in the mojo blender as well.

I, for one, have a very healthy respect for the Chargers. I'm much more afraid of the Chargers than I am of the Chiefs. I'd love to see them take a digger these next few weeks, but I'm not totally expecting it. I think Marty has the best team he's ever had playing for him right now, and I'm not about to underestimate them.

Yeah I might have to throw a wrench into the works...the Donks are probably around .500 in games I've attended...this is dating back to mid-eighties. They're also around .500 in games in which I've watched while eating a sub. 0-2 this year when I've grubbed on super nachos con carne (Mia,NY).

I'm not sure whether or not I'll attend the game on the 31st, but if I do it's a pick'em at best. I have quite a bit of influence on games as the paragraph above clearly points out.

Well that's all that matters. Let's go into their house and pick up our win! The Sassy/Hogan mojo meter is off the charts though Pendejo. They'll make up for your record.

Really, I'm not a big believer in all the mojo jive either...I was just stating that for the superstitous amongst us.

Make it up for the game if you can....but if you do, bring some of that super nachos con carne with cha, that stuff sounds good.

Ok. But I was actually pretty serious about the numbers I posted above. They're fairly accurate. I wasn't poking fun or anything.

What part of the donks are 0-2 in games in which I've eaten super nachos con carne did you not grasp. Sorry my friend. If you want super nachos...you'll have to find your own. I'm not walking down that road again.

SD is a good team. They have just played their schedule. They will give us a tough test come week 17.

And just has jake said, i fear the situation the most. SD playing a hard as they can for a playoff birth, and us having a spot locked up already.

Question is, do we want #2 seed as bad as SD wants the WC?

Also they beat 8 teams is why. edit: DANG IT Sir.

You want to know the gameplan for the next four weeks? Run the ball, controlled passing attack, let defense salt games away late...same thing we have been doing since september. Playoff football.

Actually that game won't matter, because by then we'll be resting our starters . . .

A loss to Denver would end it perfectly. I was thinking back on Marty's best teams. They all seem to end with a loss to Denver. His Browns had home field throughout the playoffs when Elway went on "the Drive." Marty's Browns lost three AFC championships to Denver. KC also had home field throughout when Denver beat them on the "revenge tour." Poor Marty. He can't even reminecse about his greatest teams without thinking about Denver.

Doesn't matter who they have beaten, they have won 5 straight...that's the fact that matters...

The biggest reason you have to give San Diego credit is that they're first in the league against the run. I don't care who you've had on the schedule, this is the NFL, and anytime you're leading the league against the run in December, you are a dangerous team.

We just need to keep winning. San Diego (and KC, for that matter) has to catch up to US. Hopefully, San Diego will still at least be one game back of Denver by that time. Otherwise, that would most likely mean that we dropped a game in the next three weeks and San Diego has beaten Indy or KC at Narrowhead. That scenario would be scary...
